Avu was standing with her arm resting on railing looking at nothing particular. Sid kept his hand on hers.
Sid: Avi
Avu: Hmm
She was still staring somewhere else. Sid sighed and turned her face to look at him by holding her chin.
Sid: Avi please talk to me. I need to know your thoughts. We need to take decision and you are equally important in this. Please tell me what you want
Avu sighed. She wet her lips by licking them with her tongue.
Avu: Look Sid I....
She gulped down a sob with her eyes getting teary. Sid stood their quietly giving her time to open up just pressing her hand assuring her that he is there.
Avu: Sid it's not like I don't want a life with you. I really wish to have a married life, having a partner, spending my life with him till the end and that's you. It's just that I am scared. Scared that the past might repeat. What if your parents refused to accept me, this relationship? What if I lost you? What if I never get to spend a life with you that I dreamt of, that we both wish to? It scares me to death Sid
She whispered the last line almost inaudible but Sid heard it because they were standing too close to each other.
Sid: Avu
He said as she started crying. He raised his free hand and moved her haur behind her ear and cupped her cheek. He softly pecked her both eyes.
Sid: I know it's hard for you
He placed kisses on her cheeks.
Sid: And I an not saying it's okk, everything is alright or to not cry over anything
He pecked her nose.
Sid: But yes whenever you need to talk, you need a shoulder to cry on, you think it's too much, you can't handle things, you need help, you need to hold a hand
He pecked her lips.
Sid: I will be right there. No matter what
He said looking straight into her eyes.
Sid: It's your decision Avni when to talk to my parents, when to get married. Or even take the next step or just let us be like this forever. I am here with you now and forever. If you want me to wait, I am ready for that too. Just know that any decision you take I am ready to support you wholeheartedly
A teary smile came on Avu's face and she ended the distance between them and placed her lips on his and he immediately responded. There was no roughness or competition to dominate, just the pure love and trust they had in each other. Sid's hands rested on her waist and her arms were wrapped around his neck. She broke the kiss slowly and joined their foreheads still in embrace with eyes closed.
Avu: Let's go meet your parents and if they are okk I am ready to get married
Sid opened his eyes and smiled widely.
Sid: Seriously?
Avu: To kya tum hi saara support, wait sab kar sakte ho? I am also equally in the relationship and of course mujhe shaadi krni hai
Next Sunday, Sid and Zalak had told Vibha they had a surprise for her and their guests are coming. She asked multiple times that who is coming but they didn't tell her. But she did prepare special lunch which was kept on dining table.
Vibha: Arre batao to mujhe
Just then the bell rang.
Sid: Look here they are
Zalak went and opened the door and there stood Avu, Hazel and Akshit. She greeted them and brought them inside.
Zalak: Here they are ma
Vibha was confused seeing them. Not like they have came first time but the way Sid and Zalak were reacting was odd to her. But she anyways masked her emotions and greeted them. They all settled down on dining table.
Vibha: So aaj aesa kya special hai? Tum dono bata hi sakte the ye dono aa rahe hai
Zalak: Umm ya about that ma we had some important news
Vibha: Hnn batao
Zalak and Akshit looked at each and smiled and Ram understood by their reactions what was going on. He just smiled which no one noticed and continued his food. He wished to hear it from his daughter's mouth.
Zalak: Mom dad. I wanted to share that umm I and Akshit
Akshit kept his hand on her fist and rubbed her knuckles. Vibha noticed and understood where this was going.
Zalak: We both like each other and are in relationship from sometime and we wish to share this with you guys. We really hope you will give us your blessings
Zalak was looking at her parents with hopeful eyes.
Vibha looked at Sidneet fearfully wishing what she was thinking was not true.
Vibha: Achha hua Avneet beta tum bhi saath aa gayi. Tum sab itne achhe dost ho. Tum bhi saath hi to achha hai
She said laughing nervously.
Sid: Actually ma. We also wanted to share that
He held Avu's hand making her feel shy.
Sid: We are also dating and thought of sharing this with you
And with this Sid dropped the bomb making Vibha's biggest nightmare true.
