Sid locked the door and rechecked it once. Their parents had already gone back to their room calling it a day. Sid went to his room followed by Zalak. Zalak went to take a bath and change into her night outfit before sleeping. Sid switched on the AC and took his phone and started scrolling it. Just then he got a video call from Avu. A smile came on his face seeing her name appear on his screen. He quickly swiped the green button to answer the call.
Sid: Heyy. How come you remembered me at this time?
Avu rolled her eyes.
Avu: It's not me. I am toh so sleepy but it's someone else who wants to talk to you
Sid: Okk. Who is it then?
Avu: It's my dear niece whom you are spoiling like anything. Now she wants to complain to you about me
Sid: Ohh. Why are you troubling my baby?
Avu: Shut up okk. I am not troubling her. It's actually ulta. Your baby is troubling me
She said in a fake offended tone with a cute pout.
Hazel: Noooo Siddooo. She is bubbling me
She said snatching the phone from Avu.
Sid: What is she saying, baby?
Hazel: She is not giving me chocy
She said pointing her tiny finger towards Avu who was making faces like mimicking her which made Sid chuckle.
Sid: Ohh. Why so Avu? That's too bad
Avu: Oh please. Just stop taking her side. Okk? She already ate today. Chocolates before bedtime. Teeth toot jaayenge saare. Then don't come to me crying. Brush bhi to nhi krti madam fir
Sid: Hmm. Baby aaj ka to kha lia na chocolate aapne
Hazel: Nhi. I want one more. Please bua. Only one
She was making such cute expressions that Sidneet were going all gaga over her cuteness.
Hazel: I love you sooooo much bua
She said spreading her arms.
Avu: Bua loves you too der saara
Hazel: To do chocy
She said forwarding her hand asking more like demanding for the chocolate.
Avu: Hadd hai. Pyaar bhi sirf chocolate ke lie hi
She said making a crying face. Sid awwed at her.
Sid: To dedo na bechari bachi ko kyu pareshaan kar rahi ho. Ek hi to maang rahi hai wo
Avu frowned at his words.
Avu: Maine abhi kya kaha? Uske daant toot jaayenge. Kharab ho jaayenge. Wo brush bhi nhi karti hai. Already aaj chocolates khaa chuki hai wo. Tu baat theek se sunta nhi hai kya meri? Dentist ke paas tu lekar jaayega usse? Huh? Tere paas chhodna hi nhi chahie isse dhyaan rakhne ke lie. Dhyaan to kya rakhta uska bigaad hi raha hai tu usko. Fir dono team up bhi kar lete ho mere against. Not fair. Tum dono milna band karna padega mujhe. Hazel agar ab zidd kia to you won't spend time with your Siddoo from now on
Hazel: Nooo. Mein aapse katti ho jaoongi fir
Avu: Ye achha hai. Now you even love him more than me
She said making an irritated face.
Sid: Mujhe kahi se to jalne ki badboo aa rahi hai
Avu rolled her eyes while Sid laughed at her. He was admiring her angry face when he saw someone standing with hands on hips in front of him as he was lying on his stomach on the bed. He looked up and it was Zalak.
