I put the ginger and tea powder in the boiling water and waited for two minutes before pouring the hot tea into a cup. It's around eight at night, and I'm still in the kitchen making ginger tea because of that stupid blue-eyed man.

When I put extra chili powder on his aaloo sabji, I didn't know he would finish it without wasting any. I just wanted to test him, but instead, he surprised me.

I know I shouldn't have listened to Ayina's words when she made this stupid plan of hers to test him, which she named 'Gore Pakode ke Pareeksha.'

But what I don't know is, is that man crazy or something? How can he eat all that when he knows I made it spicy, and he can't tolerate it?

I shook my head at his strange behavior and took the cup with me to his room. Even though I don't like him, I couldn't stop myself from caring for him.

Are you sure? my mind asked mockingly while I chose to ignore it.

I entered the elevator and pressed the button for the topmost floor. Earlier in the morning, when I came down to the living room, I didn't know this mansion had a private elevator for traveling to each floor. That's why I descended the stairs while wearing the saree. This saree is very beautiful, but it was a task managing the saree and walking at the same time, so I tucked the end of the pallu into my belly. I looked around the elevator wall, which reflected my face from the four sides because it was full of mirrors. Unable to look at my face, I looked down at my saree to notice that something was written on the end of the pallu. Curious to know what it was, I untucked the pallu and looked at it carefully. Something was written on it in a language that I didn't know. The threads used were golden in color, which matched the color of the saree.

Maybe it's the name of the designer? I thought.

The elevator pinged, indicating that I had reached the floor. Now I am familiar with the floor because earlier in the evening Lina showed me around this floor. She has also asked me to teach her how to wear a saree because apparently she wants to seduce her fiancé, whom I got to know is Michael Romano, who was the accomplice with Arthur in my kidnapping.

Knocking on the door twice, I entered the room only to be met with silence. But the sound from the bathroom caught my attention. I chuckled a little, placed the tea on the bedside table, and sat there. This room was way too big for a bachelor, just like how the mansion is for five people. I looked around, taking in the familiar surroundings which have been my escape heaven for the last few days.
