The Mehndi ceremony concluded on a positive note, with everyone's blessings. After the function, we all retired to our respective rooms to rest for some time, as in a few hours we needed to prepare for the Sangeet.
I changed my clothes once my Mehndi had dried, and my eyes were drawn to his initial, which I had hidden in my Mehndi without anyone's knowledge.
My mind wandered to my conversation with him. What promise was he referring to? We had made so many promises to each other, but because of me, they couldn't be fulfilled.
" Roo are you alive ?"
I heard Ria's voice as she banged on the washroom door, calling my name. I rolled my eyes and stepped outside to see her sigh in relief.
" Thank god you are alive, I thought something had happened to you while remembering that conversation with him".
Ria said, making Noor and Trisha giggle. I ignored them and made my way toward the bed.
"I want to sleep for a while, wake me up in half an hour"
I said, but before I could lie down, Noor pulled me back.

" Noor baby , you forget that she is a full package of talent , let her sleep for sometime Abhi Bhai already exhausted her with his talk. God knows what will happen to her when he will talk to her practically "
