As she finished speaking, she broke into tears, and my eyes turned glossy at the sound of her suffering.

My gaze fell upon her fragile figure, trembling in my arms. Seeing her in this broken state sent a sharp pain through my heart. Never in my worst nightmares had I imagined she had endured so much like dii.

I thought dii was the who faced this but .....

My rooh also faced this situation.

And I didn't even know a bit .

I hate myself

My rooh-my soul-had stopped sharing her pain, even with me. I cursed myself for letting her drift away, for not asking, for not being there when she needed me the most.

Pulling her closer, I placed a tender kiss on her forehead. She sobbed harder, burying herself in my embrace.

"I swear, I didn't do anything... it's not my fault, Maan," she choked out between sobs.

Her broken voice shattered the last of my restraint, and a lone tear escaped my eye. I took a deep breath, forcing myself to stay strong. I had to erase her pain, her insecurities.

"I know you hate me now... you must feel disgusted by me," she whispered, her voice laced with despair. "I don't deserve-"

"Stop," I cut her off, my voice firm, my eyes burning with emotions I couldn't contain. "Don't you dare say that. Don't you dare talk about leaving. You're not going anywhere, nor am I."

She swallowed hard, her tear-filled eyes darting away, but the silent drops didn't stop. I sighed, trying to steady my anger. Pulling her even closer, I whispered against her temple.
