A/N Guess who has her laptop back? This gaal :) I can't write these so I'm just gonna get right to the story...

*1 week skip*

"...and that's how you find 'x', okay?"

Tim was in the middle of teaching us quadratic equations and I found them quite easy but every time I looked over to Phil, I could see the confusion on his face. I took this opportunity to look at his work book.

"Hey, Phil?" He nodded to show he was listening. "It would be easier if you followed what your dad was saying you know." I chuckled lightly as I shifted back to my own seat.

Tim finished up what he was saying and let us leave.

Instantly Phil and I rushed up to his room.

"Dan?"
"Mmh"
"I-I- Can you t-tutor me please?" He choked out in a rush.
"Um, okay? With maths? I can see you struggle with that Lion but of course."
Phil smiled at the nickname. I decided that was his name when I found a stuffed lion under his bed when we were playing hide-and-seek a few days ago.

*Flashback*

"I'll count this time"
"Okay, bye" I rushed off to find a place to hide.

"This will be perfect, he'll never look here" I muttered to myself as I crawled under Phil's bed.

I could hear him counting. "8..9..10, READY OR NOT DANIEL I'M COMING TO GET YOU" I laughed as he began frantically searching the house for me.

I shuffled around a bit so that I couldn't be seen. 'What's this?' I thought as I dug a small lion out from behind me. I let out a soft giggle just as Phil entered the room.

"Found you, now get out from under- oh god no" Phil finished as he snatched the small toy from my hands.

I jumped up to my feet as he ran away. "Get away!" He laughed as I chased him.

*Flashback over*

"Uh, Dan? Daniel!" I drifted from my day-dream to the sound of Phil's voice.

"Mmh, yes sorry! I zoned out for a bit but yes I'll tutor you for maths" I smiled.

"No! Oh my god Li? How many times to I have to tell you!" I was getting really tired of tutoring Phil, I really wasn't cut out to be a teacher. He really was finding this difficult and I didn't mean to snap but it's frustrating me!

"Maybe we should take a break for now" I suggested and he nodded into my shoulder.
"I'm sorry I can't do it" He said quietly.

I didn't say anything, I just let him cwtch (A/N This basically means cuddle btw) into me as I pulled him into a hug, resting my head on top of his.

"Thanks for trying Dan" He let out a light chuckled against my shoulder.
"It's okay Lion." He pulled away and looked at me with a confused face.

"What's wrong Li?"
"Why don't you have a name? I mean there's 'Dan', but I want something because you have Lion."
"I'm not sure, what about-"
"I GOT IT!" He interrupted. "I'm going to call you bear because of your hugs, the bear hugs are the best" He announced, a grin spreading across his face.
"Perfect" I pulled him into a 'bear hug' just as his mum walked in.

"Hey boys- oh, is he okay?" She asks worriedly noticing Phil cuddled into my shoulder.
"Oh yeah, he's okay. Phil?" I notice he's fallen asleep in my arms. I quickly shake him awake.
"Lion wake up" I pulled away from the hug and quickly grabbing head before he fell into my lap.
"Mmh, no I'm tired."
"Your mums here" I added casually. He quickly freed my arms from his tight grasp and turned a beetroot colour as he turned to face Lisa.
"Yes mum?" I don't like he meant to sound that aggravated.
"I was just going to tell you that food's ready" She said giggling before leaving to go downstairs.

Phil was about to cuddle back into me again but I grabbed his shoulders.

"No, get up we need food! Come on" I got up and held a hand out for Phil to grab.

He grabbed my hand and I pulled him up before making our way (A/N Downtown?) downstairs to join Tim and Lisa.
