I was used to being shipped off by my father, but I thought that would have changed when I became an adult but clearly, I was wrong. Before I left, he was babbling along about how this would be good for me and how if I wanted to take over when he's gone, I needed this, thankfully Theo was sent with me. Theo is the son of my father's 'right handman' we've been inseparable since we were five.
"Matt!" The door of the blacked out suv swung open.
"Theo!" he pulled me into a hug and patted my shoulder hard. You would never have guessed we only saw each other two days ago with how excited he was "What's got you like this" I chuckled pushing him softly
"honestly this place, its actually huge dude." I looked around for the first time at the castle like building in front of us.
"Wow" the word escaped my mouth before I had a chance to stop it.
"Dude" He chuckled "I thought you'd be used to places like this" he was right my family owned a few large estates but it was nothing compared to this.
"Have you found out what this place actually is" I nudged him to gain back his attention as it had been taken by two boys fighting on the large lawn to our right.
"Ur no but I know someone who would know" His face lit up; but I couldn't tell who he was looking at as a large crowd had started to form."Teddy!"A soft voice shouted, suddenly he was slammed to the floor by a small girl. Shehad black hair and seemed to be covered in small tattoos "I can't believe that father actually let me join too" The smile on her face was soft but the sparkle in her eyes was intense.
"Hey Saff." Theo picked himself up off the ground and brushed the grass off him"Oh yeah you remember Mattheo" he gestured to me, as the girl met my gaze she dropped the smile.
"Oh yeah hi" she held her hand out but seemed hesitant. I looked to Theo confused, I didn't remember this girl but she seemed familiar.
"Ur Matt, it's Saffron" His face seemed offended as if I should know her "My twin sister you idiot" He slapped me up the back side of the head and rolled his eyes.
"Nice to know I'm memorable" She scoffed "Anyway I'm going to head to the combat class, I can't wait to see what its like." Combat class? What was this place?
