The garden truly was a beautiful place..
The Princess had made sure of it.
Ensuring only skilled people were gardeners,
and that all the plants were unique and pretty.

Of course it took work to make it perfect.
She had started the project so long ago..
And it was going well.
But she felt it was missing so much still..
However, there was no way of knowing what.

Did it miss a true purpose?
What is a purpose is not to be beautiful!?
Perhaps it was missing another plant?
But she had all that could be imagined..

She looked over at Ren.
A boy she had captured.
Of course he wouldn't have been alone..
But that other one escaped.
Who was that other guy anyway?
Such an annoyance..

She had reasons, of course.
Everything had a reason.
Beyond one's mind does lie the truth..
Which holds what your reason might be.

But she still preferred the reason of beauty..
Anything could be beautiful if you tried.
Like artwork, outfits, or any creations..
But behind all beauty lies two possibilities.
Either a snake, or a butterfly.

She herself didn't know what she was yet..
Possibly something new.
But her brother was definitely a snake..
No doubt!
Prince Corlio was a true pain..

Hopefully he wouldn't hurt her new human.
There was so much to learn about him!
She wasn't sure how much time they had..
But the princess would make the most of it!

Her gaze drifted behind her.
She felt eyes..
Oh.
She locked eye contact with Wevern.
That vampire..

He truly was something.
His determination reminded her of a human..
And he was quite the specimen.
Always seeing things differently..
But, he was useful.
He would do anything she asked..
No questions involved.
No hesitation.
It made her curious about him..

He was yet to know what happened to his family.
It did make her feel a bit bad,
but not too horrible.
His father and mother were similar..
It was truly sad what fate they met.

Vaziumae looked back at the black hair boy.
She could sense something about him aswell..
Had he noticed the boy watching them?
Or was he focused on something else?
She couldn't quite tell..
His emotions were well hidden.
Always masked with annoyance or emptiness..

She was determined to one day learn what he actually felt at times.
Which would call for well done investigations!
And perhaps one day..
She too will know the use of him.
