It been a day since Yoda and Emperor Vader returns from their trip but the Republic was desperate for a victory thus when the spy network reveals that the CIS plans to invade Thessia they sent their best to combat the CIS forces. For if Thessia falls then their economy is doom.
An: in Mass effect the Asari home planet Thessia is a large source of economy. Thus if the CIS gains control of Thessia then the Republic will slowly go bankrupt.
Inside Palpatine office Palpatine is having a meeting with the Jedi and the senator of Thessia, Tevos.
Tevos: "I will tell you now that if you lose this battle then I have no choice but to joined the CIS since my people comes first" she said.
Luminara: "Don't rush your choice senator Tevos as the Republic will defend your home" she said.
Tevos: "I doubt it since the CIS proves why the Republic is failing" she thought then leave.
Palpatine: "Failure is not a option as Thessia is important due to it connections and resources" he said then the Jedi leave.
Once alone Palpatine called Cerberus which the Illusive Man appears in a holographic projection.
Illusive Man: "What is the issue?" He said.
Palpatine: "The CIS is gonna invade Thessia. If that planet joins the CIS then the Republic Economy will slowly dry up until we can't afford the clone army" he said.
Illusive Man: "Well it would be tragic if Thessia is destroyed" he said which Palpatine frowned.
Palpatine: "We need the economy of Thessia as the Banking clan isn't enough" he said.
Illusive Man: "True but Thessia is only one world and the economy can recover" he said.
Palpatine: "Fine but you better be prepared if the CIS interferes and don't find evidence" he said.

Surrounding the planet are several Asari starships and a few Republic ship which two are lead by Jaro Tapal and Taron Malicos.
Currently they are talking to the leader of the Asari navy when alarms went off thus they see several CIS ships exiting hyperspace but both Jedi frown as they see General grievous flagship
Jaro: "Everyone focuses fire on the Invisible Hand" he said then the Republic and Asari fire at the CIS fleet.
Inside the Invisible Hand General Grievous is talking to Emperor Vader about the situation.
Emperor Vader: "I see that the Republic spies still works but no matter for Thessia will join the CIS especially since they have backstabbers" he said.
Then some Asari ships begin to attack their own forces alongside the Republic.
General Grievous: "I see that Benezia managed to sway some of her own people" he said.
Emperor Vader: "She's also one of my lovers. Now then General I think it time for your new weapon" he said which General Grievous laugh.
General Grievous: "Activate the Scourge!" He said then a giant cannon come out of the bottom of the flagship.
Then it unleashes a massive blast that completely vaporized multiple Republic fleets.
Thus forcing the remaining Republic fleets to retreat but then a holographic projection of Benezia appear.
Benezia: "My love my spies informed me that Cerberus attempted to use multiple nukes to destroy Thessia but thankfully your new droids managed to stop them" she said.
Emperor Vader: "As usual Cerberus would do anything for human superior to every race. However thankfully the new nuclear sensors droids can stop nukes or any nuclear threats but did you manage to convince Tevos to join the CIS?" He said which Benezia smile.
Benezia: "Yes and thankfully no Asari lives was taken since my fleet use massive stuns to only temporary stop the other fleets from using their weapons" she said.
Emperor Vader: "Good now that the Republic lost a major economic support their people will cause a riot as the Senate will have no choice but to increase their taxes" he said.
General Grievous: "But what about the turian, awoken, and Vulcan? They might help contains the riots?" He said which Emperor Vader chuckled.
Emperor Vader: "They will be dealing with their own problems once we attack their home worlds" he said.
