Chapter 3

It's of great happenstance or maybe a jest of the universe for them to meet.

Valencia is the 3rd populous city in Spain and although Barcelona offers great architecture and fun nightlife, Fahlada decided to take the three hour train ride to go to the eastern city famed for its relaxing vibe. It's been a stressful week for the resident Doctor and she desperately needed a breather so she filed for a 4 days vacation . She's diligent with her task and never files for leave since there's no need to so her infamous Professor begrudgingly agreed to it.

.Although not one who usually worries about money, Houses and cost of living are cheaper here compared to Barcelona so Lada rents a whole Bungalow located in front of the white sands of the Mediterranean. She fondly remembers that Thailand has a Tropical climate and was always scorching hot most of the year and although Spain is a sunny country as well, it's different since the Mediterranean air provides mild and soothing air but the weather when she arrived was different.

The rain softly drizzle in the afternoon as what the weather suggested so Lada hurriedly went through the train terminal and prepared to hail a taxi to deliver her to her accommodation but a long line of people got the exact same idea as her so she opted to sit at one of the lounge chair located nearby.

"Doctor?"

Fahlada don't want to assume but she looked back and saw the familiar blonde girl smiling at her radiantly. Valencia's gloomy weather seemed to brighten.

"Earn? Right?" The Doctor  tried to confirm , this girl is unforgettable. Upon getting the acknowledgement form the younger girl invited her to sit beside her. It's been two weeks since the girl was rushed to the emergency room for her allergic reaction from eating a banana. "Running away from bananas?" Lada tried to joke and Earn laughed wholeheartedly.

"You sure I am," The girl confirmed but wanted to satisfy her curiosity asked, "Small world, what are you doing here in Valencia?"

"Vacation." Lada responded. She's not normally one to share things to unknown people but there's something about Earn that made her comfortable. Maybe it's their shared culture? Maybe it's her interest with the girl's bubbly personality. Maybe her lips..

"Me too!" The girl excitedly shared. "Our term ended two days ago and I decided to treat myself with this. Lucky that I met you here."

"You sure are," Lada smiled at the chattering girl, "Where's your hotel though? I can drop you off there if you want." she offered.

Earn being the spontaneous girl laughs and shakes her head. She's not the type to book things in advance since she believes that scheduled vacations are nonsense if you're prompted to stress about it and she'd rather follow her impulsive self. "Just drop me off at the plaza. I'm planning to walk around time and once I'm tired, I'll just look for any hotel that's available."

The Doctor looks at the younger girl beguilingly. She can never imagine going somewhere without a detailed plan. She ought to think about Plan B's and possible until Plan E if possible just in case things don't work out well. She constantly thinks of order and feels like she can tame her obsessiveness with self organization. Fahlada look at the drizzling rain and for the second time that afternoon, she surprised herself by asking the girl, "Would you like to come with me?" She offered and she saw how wide the girl's eyes became. Earn was obviously surprised as well, "I'm not a serial killer, promise. I booked a bungalow. Front beach. White sands!" Fahlada heard herself jabber rapidly, caution thrown in the wind.

"Doctor, you're cute." Earn fondly and stand up which prompts the Doctor to do the same, "Let's go?"

The Doctor was astonished that the young girl was willing to come with her and glad that she accepted her offer.
