Another contraction pushes through me as I try to breath out squeezing Summer's hand, "You are doing really good Sage. They are about fifteen minutes apart right now."

The contraction dies down and I lay my head against Summer, "I am so glad you are here with me."

Ash speaks up from the front seat, "We are pulling up to the hospital now."

Summer directs Ash to a good parking spot near the entrance. Once Ash parks, Summer helps me out of the vehicle as Ash grab's the hospital bags. Once we get inside, they unlock the doors for us to get checked in at the OB unit.

Seeing a familiar face at the nurses desk, "Sydney! Are you working the night shift?"

Sydney looks up and smiles, "Sage! I most certainly am tonight. It must be my lucky night to get to take care of my favorite."

Sydney escorts us to the first delivery room which is also a master suite, "I will be right back with your check in papers. For now, Summer if you want to get her into a delivery gown."

Summer nods and heads towards my bag, thank god Summer packed extra scrubs and convinced me to buy a more comfortable delivery gown. Pulling out the bright pink delivery gown out of my hospital bag she helps me into the bathroom to change.

"I swear, I have the most amazing nurses with me tonight."

Summer laughs, helping me out of my sweatpants, "As your best friend, I can't wait to see this most miraculous moment."

Walking back out of the bathroom and Ash does a quiet whistle, "Sexy momma incoming. That gown looks amazing on you."

I roll my eyes and walk over to him hugging him, "Whatever you say baby."

Summer giggles, "I am going to go change into my scrubs and check in with Sydney. If you need something let me know. Pretty soon, we will probably check if your dilated and get you set up for IV."

Summer smiles at us and heads out the door to go change and get ready, for what will be a good night.

Looking up at Ash, and smiling at him, "This is really going to happen babe."

Ash kisses me on the forehead, slightly swaying with me, "I am so nervous about becoming a father."

Laying my head against his chest closing my eyes, "Babe, you're going to make an amazing father. Trust me, I am bringing this child into this world and I am terrified. My dad gave me good advice, that we just be ourselves and natural instincts will kick in."

Ash lays his head on mine, "You texted your parents?"

I nodded, "Yeah dad said him and Teresa were going to try to find the earliest flight down here. Mom didn't respond to my text, you know how she is."

The door opens and Summer walks back in with her pretty blue scrubs with dinosaurs, "I thought these scrubs would be appropriate."

Smiling and trying to not become tearful, "I swear, I love you."

"I love you too girl."

I squeeze Ash's arm as another contraction hits, "Oooo man that is painful."

Summer comes to my side and helps me sit down in the hospital bed getting me laid back, "You said that you absolutely want all natural and no epidural?"

I nod breathing in and out, "All natural, just fluids."

Sydney walks in with a smile, "Another contraction?"
