It's 10.00 in the morning, also known as 1 day and 7 hours since Jewel was born. Scarre and I have now properly waken up.
"Hey, Scarre?"
"Yes, my sweetie pie?"
"Do you want to show all of our family and friends our new baby?" I ask lovingly and Scarre nods.
I quickly make some calls, and five minutes later, all of our family and friends are standing in our living room.
"So, what's going on? Why did you call us all here, Calla?" My mom, the famous Sophie Sencen, asks me.
"Well, um, we all have a little surprise for you guys..." I reply. "Scarre and I are officially... parents!" We hold baby Jewel up for everyone to see. Shadel, Juline, my mom, dad, all of their friends stare in wonder.
"It's beautiful, Calla!" My dad, Keefe Sencen, says lovingly as he reaches for Jewel. "Is it a boy or a girl, and what's it's name? Ooh, if it's a boy, can you name him Keefe JR. , and if it's a girl, can you still name her Keefe JR. ?"
"Haha, no dad, sorry! Her name is... Jewel." I say softly as everyone emotionally melts on the inside.
"Calla, she's so beautiful. I am so glad, - WAIT. I'M A GRANDMA!" My mom says excitedly as we all laugh.
"You just realised that?" Keefe murmured.
"And I'm a GREAT-GRANDMA!" Oralie says excitedly. We all smile.
"I'm so happy for you, bestie! You will have the best time being a mother -" Juline suddenly stops and we all stare at her.
Juline? Is something wrong?" Oralie asks.
"I -" Juline stops again. "Guys, sorry to ruin the moment, but um... my water just broke."
