Chapter 101 - Asher

It's the wedding day! Reminds me of old times 😋

Today is the day of my wedding. I'm getting married to the most beautiful woman in the world, and I get to spend the rest of my life with her. It's the dream I've always wanted. And today, it's happening.

I finish putting on my suit and tie, and the rings are ready. All I have to do is head over to the church. I finalise my hair and whole look in general and quickly light leap to the church. Everyone is talking to each other, but I just ignore all of them and head up to the stage.

"Ready?" the pastor asks me and I nod. He signals for the music to start playing, and so it does. The traditional music starts playing and the doors open. I watch as my beautiful bride walks down the aisle with her dad, Scarre, and as she reaches the steps, she lets go of her dad's hands and joins me. 

I stare at her in wonder as the pastor begins to say his speech. 

"We are gathered here today to witness the marriage of Jewel Sencen, the daughter of Calla Edaline Sencen and Scarre Dizznee, and Asher Song, the son of Juline Endal and Shadel Song."

I smile. "Can we skip to the marriage bindings please, pastor?" I whisper to the pastor and he nods quickly. 

They have been in love since they were kids. Now, they still continue this love to this day as 21-year old adults. Asher Song, do you take Jewel Sencen to be your bride for the rest of your life?"

I nod eagerly. "I do."

"Jewel Sencen, do you take Asher Song to be your husband for the rest of your life?" The pastor continues.

"I do!" Jewel says just as eagerly as I do.

"You may now kiss the bride." The pastor finishes as he steps away. 

I pull Jewel in, kissing her deeply on the lips as I hear claps from the audience. I smile, but just pull Jewel in closer while bending her down. We pull away as we stare at each other with just love in our eyes.

I already know I'm going to be the happiest man in the world.
