Chapter 92 - Asher

Time to reveal the abilities! Comment who's ability you guys like more 🥰

We're now at Elwin's office. My mom, Jewel, Calla and I are all sitting on a few chairs in front of Elwin.

"So, you four, what's going on?" Elwin asks.

"Asher and Jewel's abilities were recently just revealed, but we haven't seen them before." Calla says. Elwin nods.

"Okay, can I see these abilities?" Elwin asks. 

"I'll go first." I stand up and turn to my mom. "Mom, can I test it on you?" My mom nods and stands up. 

Okay, focus mode. I shut my eyes and focus on my mom and what shape I want her to take. I hold up my hands and move them around in a certain manner, and when I open my eyes, I see that my mom has taken the form of  a vase.

Elwin gasps in surprise. "Normally, elves can only transform themselves into other shapes... but turning other elves into something else on command? I haven't seen that before..."

"Do you have any idea what it could be, Elwin?" My mom asks, and Elwin brightens.

"Yes, I think I do know, actually." Elwin says excitedly. "I think that Asher and Jewel are the first two elves to have combined abilities."

"COMBINED?" All four of us say in unison. "What does that mean?"

"Well, Mesmers can make people do whatever they please, right? And Phasers can make themselves transform into anything at all. So, this is what I propose - Asher has one ability - a Mesmer and Phaser combined."

My jaw drops. "That's crazy! Since I'm the first person to get this ability, can I name it?" Elwin nods and everyone stares at me with curiosity. "I'm going to call it... Mesmephaser. Mesmer and Phasers combined!"

"That's a great name, honey," My mom says with a smile.

"Okay, Jewel, your turn!" Elwin says and I sit back down and Jewel stands up.

"Mom? Can I use you as a demonstrator?" Jewel asks and Calla nods. I watch as Jewel closes her eyes and shoots her hands forward at Calla. A bolt of lightning comes out of her hands and hits Calla. Calla screams in pain - but Jewel keeps the lightning going. She holds it for ten seconds, keeping Calla in immense pain, before stopping the lightning.

"Mom! I'm so sorry, are you okay?" Jewel said, rushing to her mom. 

"Yeah, I-I'm okay," Calla said softly, trying to hide the fact that her lightning really hurt. "Elwin, can I have two potions - one to help with the pain and one to regain my strength?"

Elwin nods and rushes to a back room. Calla sits back down on her chair and Elwin comes with the potions. Calla quickly chugs them down as Elwin turned towards Jewel.

"So, Jewel, this is what I think," Elwin begins. "First, you had lightning out of your hands. Chargers can do that. However, Chargers can't use their electricity to harm someone - they can't even direct it at somebody, especially not for pain or injurious purposes. Although, Inflictors can do that. So, I propose that you also have one ability - a Charger and Inflictor combined."

Calla is stunned. "Aww, Jewel, you're just like your Grandma Sophie!" 

Jewel smiles in excitement. "Ooh! Let me tell her, okay?" Calla nods with a smile.

"What are you going to name your ability, Jewel?" Elwin asks and Jewel hesitates for a moment.

"Um... I'm going to go with Inflictacharger!" Jewel said excitedly. "It's literally just the word Inflictor and Charger combined, so you get the idea."

"Nice name, baby," Calla says gently and Jewel grins.

"That's great, then. Well, you four are set to go!" Elwin said happily.

"Okay, thank you - wait, Elwin, how are they going to train their abilities?" Calla asks Elwin and he stops for a moment.

"Oh, I know! Jewel will have two trainers - one Inflictor and one Charger. Asher will also have two trainers - one Mesmer and one Phaser." Elwin replies.

"Great idea! Jewel can have Counselor Bronte and Counselor Zarina for her training. I'll call them later to tell them." Calla says excitedly.

"And Asher will have Lord Grady and Counselor Darek." Juline adds on.

"Perfect, ladies. Thank you all for coming today!" Elwin says as we head out the door.
