Chapter 86 - Linh

Hi guys! Mark my words - this chapter is the beginning of some drama!

It's 11.00 pm, and I'm hiding in one of the bushes outside Calla's house. We had a close call earlier today when Juline's kid, Asher, nearly called me out. Lucky I lightleaped away fast enough so that they didn't see me.

I've always hated Calla. After perfect Sophie  had her baby, Calla, nobody in my friend group wanted to be just with each other anymore. It was always with the kids, and I knew that's how it was going to be.

So it's time for my revenge. I look up towards Jewel's bedroom, and all of the lights are off. Game time.

I use my telekinesis skill to float me over the fence the house has. Pretty poor security, if you ask me. Anyways, I pull out my Suction-Functions. They're little toilet-plunger things that gives you the ability to climb walls. Dex made them for me; at least he tries to do something for someone, unlike Sophie, Keefe and all the rest of those bimbos. 

I slowly climb up the wall with this mechanism, making sure that I climb over any security cameras so nobody detects that I'm here.

A minute later, I arrive at the window. I take a small peek in, and what do you know, Jewel and Asher are sleeping. My plan is flawless and working flawlessly. I have to keep up this terrific effort for it to stay that way, though.

While holding myself steady with the two Suction-Functions on my feet and one on my left hand, I carefully and gently slide open the window to Jewel's bedroom.

Jackpot.

I jump through the window and make a graceful landing. Those years of diving really help when it comes to kidnapping. 

I quickly remove the Suction-Functions from my body and shove them into my bag. I've actually recently learnt another skill - if you put telekinesis and teleportation together, you can make a new skill. I haven't made a name for it yet, but it's basically just teleporting items to where you want them to go. And yes, it's a different thing to what Edaline has. 

I close my eyes and think hard about my bag, everything in it, and where I want it to go. I open my eyes again and the bag is gone. I smile. We're just going to have to assume that it teleported to my hideout.

I look towards the children again. They look so innocent... but they aren't. Their parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents have made life hell for me. That trauma will never go away. Time for my payback.

I launch for Jewel, who is sleeping peacefully on the floor in her own sleeping bag next to Asher. I grab her tightly and she screams, waking Asher up.

"What is going on -" Asher starts but I grab him as well. They both try to wriggle out, but they can't get out of my grasp.

The two continue to scream as I close my eyes. Time to teleport.

"Get ready," I say to the two children as they continue to scream. I realize that they probably didn't hear me under all their cries for help.

My eyes are closed and my brain is locked in - we're about to teleport to my hideout.

"3...2...1..." I countdown, and just as Calla and Juline are about to bust, in, all of us have disappeared.

Hey guys! I hope you all liked that chapter. I just wanted to remind you all that when Fitz kidnapped Sophie, Scarre, Shadel and Juline, he experimented on Linh first to give her the same teleportation ability that Sophie has. 😍
