April 22
As Cody and Emma stepped out of the coach, they couldn't help but feel both unease and relief at the sight of being confined in the presence of humans who were on their side.
But at the same time, Cody's mind was wandering off at the thought of where June was. He wasn't up for telling Emma quite yet that her brother had been transformed and that he was now a dog girl with superpowers.
Eventually, he and the others were moved into different rooms to sleep. And to his surprise, as he stepped into the room he'd been assigned alongside Emma and Oliver, he found two people he'd never thought he'd see again, Ivan and Felix.
It was a huge relief knowing that they were ok, but also a burden at the same time of the thought of how he'd have to actually inform them of what happened when Biltmore was attacked.
Thankfully, they already had figured many of their friends hadn't made it when they heard about it, but they were met with a pleasant surprise at how many others made it at the same time.
But even as they talked in peace, both Cody and Emma were unable to help but recognize the fact that the conflict they were all stuck in was anything but over.

Hours later...
"Are you sure you guys are gonna be ok out there?" asked Eric, his voice calm yet filled with untold concern.
"I hope we will, but someone's gotta transmit this message, and I promise we'll get back to you...or die trying," asked Dean half heartedly. No one game much of a chuckle, but they knew he'd always been trying to lighten up the situation as always. Sandy, though, at the end of their consist, gave a small smile in response, hoping to trust him.
"Ok, you two, the faster this gets done the faster you get to come back," ordered Benson. Some crossly glared at him, but refrained from arguing. Dean and Sandy then set off out of the base, many nervous eyes watching them, hoping this wouldn't be the last time they were seen alive.

June's heart pounded as she and Julie raced towards where they knew the remaining humans and engines were. She didn't know what to say or do, but she was more than aware of something bad happening to them if they didn't intervene.
Luckily, it wouldn't be long before they came upon the big area where they watched from a distance near to the clouds. The humans and engines down below were all in preparation, yet she couldn't recognize Cody or many others around the area she knew of.
"June?" asked Julie telepathically, her voice ringing in her head. "I feel like we're being watched."
June turned her attention and realized Julie wasn't lying, something was nearby, with some kind of faint hum that reminded her of Maximus the night before and how his power wasn't too far off from her own. But then, the cause of it revealed themselves.
"What do we have here?" bellowed an echoing telepathic voice. June whipped around faster and saw him there, a green draconic figure incredibly similar to the one she fought not too long ago. Julie followed shortly after, and there was a mere silence between the group.
"I don't know who you are, but I'm not going to let you hurt them," said June as she gritted her teeth.
The draconic figure only seemed to laugh. "I just need to get you out of the way."
He then charged at an intense speed and sent June smashing back as they collided. Julie didn't know what to do, but then she turned her attention down and saw what looked like a whole army approaching the human camp.
