KNUCKLES JDD Version

Prologue

This story takes place in a universe where there are planets that can support alien lifeforms, and some of them look like different colored anthropomorphic animals of Earth, like hedgehogs, foxes, echidnas, owls and more. Their main mode of transportation were small golden rings called Warp rings, which can used to open up portals that go to wherever the user thinks to go off to. On a planet called Mobius, there was an island called South Island, which was a tropical paradise with palm trees, sandy beaches, and loop-de-loops of some landscapes. On the island, there was Long-Claw (voiced by Donna Jay Fulks), the last of the Giant Owl clan that were in war with the echidnas, and Long-Claw had an adopted 3 year old son named Sonic, a blue alien hedgehog with downward quills, little brown boots and a pair of white gloves, that was born with the ability to run faster than the speed of sound. One day, when Sonic wandered off to get a sunflower for Long-Claw, the last members of the Echidna tribe found and Sonic to Long-Claw, who both get attacked by the echidnas. Long-Claw, who got badly hurt by an arrow shot, used a Warp ring to send Sonic to the planet called Earth to escape from the echidnas, while she stayed behind to fight them one last time before both she and the echidnas met their end. 10 years later on Earth, Sonic (voiced by Ben Schwartz), now a 13 year old, had spent the last 10 years watching over the people of a small town in Montana called Green Hills, especially it's sheriff named Tom Wachowski (played by James Marsden) and his wife Maddie (played by Tika Sumpter) who happens to be a veterinarian. The only person who was onto Sonic was an old man named Crazy Carl (played by Frank C. Turner), who was known to be crazy and tried to trap Sonic but always failed at it. One night, when Sonic was playing baseball all by himself and got upset as he realized that he was gonna be alone forever, the hedgehog ran around really fast and let out an explosion of Chaos energy that caused a major blackout throughout the entire pacific north-west, which caught the attention of the government, who sent out the robotic genius named Dr Ivo Robotnik (played by Jim Carrey) and his assistant, Agent Stone (played by Lee Majdoub) to investigate. Sonic tried to escape with his rings, but get caught and knocked out by Tom and his tranquilizer gun by mistake and made the hedgehog lose his rings at the Transamerica Pyramid in San Francisco. Left with no choice, Tom helps Sonic get his rings back, while being chased by the mad doctor that wanted Sonic's power for himself and his machines. When they got to San Francisco, Sonic gets new red and white Puma shoes from Maddie, and when the pair helped Sonic get to the Transamerica Pyramid and got his rings back, Robotnik showed up and tries to attack them. Sonic uses a ring to send Tom and Maddie back to Green Hills, while tries to outrun Robotnik, only to discover that thanks to the power of one of the hedgehog's quills, Robotnik's Egg Pod was able to move as fast as Sonic, who managed to get back to Green Hills to have one more showdown with the mad doctor, which ended with Sonic banishing Robotnik to the Mushroom planet. After everything went back to normal, Tom and Maddie decided to adopt the little alien hedgehog as their own son, which made Sonic very happy as he now has a family and a place to stay. A few months later of course, trouble brewed again as Dr Robotnik managed to come back and brought an alien echidna named Knuckles (voiced by Idris Elba) with him to help him. The echidna was red with purple colored eyes, a white crescent-shaped patch of fur on his chest, wearing nothing but a pair of white gloves with two spike knuckles on each hand, and a pair of red and yellow shoes, each with green cuffs and a gray, sextuplet-bolted plate on top. Luckily for Sonic though, he managed to get a friend out of a young alien yellow fox with a second tail, had blue colored eyes, three locks of hair on his forehead, wearing a pair of white gloves and a pair of red and white shoes, named Miles Prower, or commonly known as Tails (voiced by Colleen O'Shaughnessey), who was a big fan of Sonic's that came to help him. It wasn't long before the hedgehog/fox pair discovered that the Earth was the secret location of the Master Emerald, a mystical gem that has the power to turn thoughts into reality, and was the thing that the echidnas and giant owls were fighting over for centuries. The pair went to Siberia to get a special compass that should get them to the Master Emerald, only to lose it to Robotnik and Tails gets knocked out by a missile. Sonic managed to help himself and the knocked out Tails to escape to Hawaii with a Warp ring, only to get caught by a military force called Guardian Units of Nations, or G.U.N. for short, lead by Commander Walters (played by Tom Butler), who was after the blue hedgehog ever since the San Francisco incident. Luckily though, Tom and Maddie managed to save Sonic and Tails from G.U.N., and the hedgehog was able to locate the Master Emerald when a beam of light came out of the ocean when Robotnik and Knuckles used the compass to find it. When Sonic got to the temple where the Master Emerald was, he and Knuckles went to fight each other, at least until Robotnik betrayed Knuckles and stole the Master Emerald for himself. After saving each other from drowning, Sonic and Knuckles settled their differences and Tails came to them with a plane to help them get back to Green Hills, which was where Tom's deputy, Wade Whipple (played by Adam Pally), was being held hostage by Agent Stone, who was waiting for Robotnik's return. When the mad now Master Emerald powered Dr Robotnik came back to Green Hills, G.U.N. arrived and tried to arrest the man, only for the mad doctor used his new powers to transform G.U.N.'s vehicles into a giant robot called the Giant Death Egg robot. Sonic, Tails and Knuckles arrived back to Green Hills, and had to team up to get the Master Emerald separated from Robotnik. The plan worked, but the robot still had auxiliary power, and the Master Emerald got shattered, revealing the 7 Chaos emeralds that were used to create the Master emerald itself. Just before Robotnik could use the robot's foot to stomp on Sonic, the Chaos emeralds went into Sonic, and transformed him into Super Sonic, giving him to power to destroy the robot and defeat Robotnik a second time. When Sonic changed back and the Chaos emeralds scattered themselves to who knows where, Sonic, Tails and Knuckles made a promise with a power bump to form a new tribe together to protect the Master Emerald, which Knuckles managed to restore, from falling into the wrong hands again. Not only that, but Tom and Maddie decided to adopt both Tails and Knuckles as their own, which makes them Sonic's new brothers, and their first activity as a family was playing some baseball together. Now you might think that's the happy ending for Sonic and his family, but the thing is that their story was only beginning, and that's what this story is about, which is about to begin.
