Heads up: Slight homophobic behaviour, mentioned Corey x Jim

Third Person POV

After a good performance, the band usually got a few drinks at the bar near the hotel they were staying at.

Tonight was a great show though, the audience all having a good time, with dangerous stunts successfully being pulled. So, the band celebrated with tons of booze, all of them on varying levels of drunkenness, with Corey and Clown being almost absolutely wasted, and Mick, Craig, and Jim only being a bit tipsy. But the main thing was that everyone was having fun and drinking.

Their conversation was all of the place, talking about the most random things, from their songs to their masks, to the hotel they were staying at, and to politics and people's sexuality.

Sid looked a little uncomfortable at that last, particular topic, clutching the glass of alcohol in his hand a little awkwardly, as he quietly sat there, listening to everyone talking about their opinions.

Suddenly, an intoxicated Corey leaned his head against Jim, who appeared to not mind at all, one of his hands holding up the singer by the waist. It was as if this was normal between them.

That had not gone unnoticed by the other band members, some surprised, a few others just chuckling, seemingly have assumed there was some chemistry between the guitarist and vocalist for a while now. And those assumptions had been corrected by both Corey and Jim, both shamelessly admitting their homosexuality.

And just like that, the topic of who else in the band was gay was brought up, much to Sid's discomfort.

Eventually, after a bit of joking around and laughing in the group— practically the complete opposite of Sid —Chris was growing more and more comfortable around them, glad to see the majority of them weren't as harsh about the topic than he had originally thought.

And so, kind of just out of the blue, he just blurted out the truth of something he had been somewhat hiding for a bit.

"Oh— by the way, guys, I'm gay."

The group went silent for a few seconds, with Chris nonchalantly taking another sip of his booze.

But just as they went silent, Corey began to laugh a little. Not because he found his bandmate coming out of the closet funny— shit, he had just confessed not too long ago— but rather how random that was.

Soon, most of the band just returned to joking around, a few of them making congratulatory comments about how the percussionist coming out, and how they supported him.

But still, one person stayed silent.

Sid.

He didn't quite know what to say, the corner of his lips turned downwards into a subtle frown, while he stared down into the liquid he held in his hand, trying to hopefully zone out and loose track of time until they talked about something else.

Chris noticed right away that Sid had been silent after his confession, and he also couldn't help but notice that frown on his face.

He tried to not think about the fact that Sid hadn't said anything or how he was frowning, and he just continued to relax in the presence of the rest of the band, even laughing along with some of the comments from Clown or Mick.

But the fact that Sid was just completely quiet the entire time was starting to get to him, and after a few minutes he leaned in a bit closer to the turntablist.

"Hey, Sid, you okay?" Chris asked in a low voice, so that no one else could hear him besides the other man. He then chuckled a little and jokingly added:
