Lea's POV (Still night time)
Apparently when I woke up it was still dark out, meaning Katara and Zuko left on Appa when it was dark out, half smart, half not smart, they will get tired too quickly by morning from the lack of sleep. I decided to go back to bed and wait until they get back
"Lea, Lea, LEA!" I jolted up, knocking heads with someone
"OWW!" We both yelled, rubbing our foreheads, I looked up to see Shinya
"What is it?"
"They are back, plus you have been sleeping for quite a while, are you alright?" He asked me and I nodded
"I slept that long? Okay, umm how did the mission go for them?" I asked him, getting up
"I'm not sure yet, I didn't ask them yet." Shinya told me and I nodded
"Do you want to practice your bending, Shinya?" I asked him, holding the Book of Forms out to him
"I can, I need to use it more often." He stated and I nodded, handing it over to him
"Good luck with pushing rocks, I'm going to go find my brother." I stated and walked out of the tent, only to see Katara sitting at the edge of the docks, Zuko and Aang behind her. I stared at the sun setting for a good 5 seconds before walking over to them
"Zuko told me what you did... Or what you didn't do I guess, I'm proud of you." Aang told Katara, blocking the sun from his eyes for a second
"I wanted to do it, I wanted to take out all of my anger out on him, but I couldn't. I don't know if it's because I'm to weak to do it, or to strong enough not to do it." Katara explained, looking away gultily
"You did the right thing, forgiveness if the best step to begin healing." I clenched my fists when I heard Aang say this. I didn't forgive Ozai for killing grandfather, or sending Zuko and Mom away, or even thinking about killing me even if I was his daughter. Katara got up and looked at Aang with her some type of emotion in her eyes
"I didn't forgive him, I will never forgive him. But I am ready to forgive you." Katara walked towards Zuko, and hugged him?! I hear wedding bells ringing~! Oh right, uhh I shouldn't probably get into that, it's their privacy and all. They pulled apart and Katara walked towards me
"I know how you feel, Katara." I told her, having her stop abruptly
"How can you feel when you have never lost anyone in your life before?" She asked me, a little venom in her voice
"I lost my Mom too, because of Ozai, he banished her and killed my grandfather, and was going to execute me because I was weak." I stated having her eyes widen at my statement
"That's why I left the life of luxury, to stop Ozai of his evil demands, along with my sister Azula who has fallen into Ozai's vile path. I want to kill Ozai, but then if I do, I am no better than him." I explained to her
"We may not forgive the people who hurt us most in the past, but remember if we do the same thing that they did, we are no better than them, Katara." I explained to her further, setting my hand on her shoulder
"Thanks, Lea, I didn't know you and Zuko lost both your mother and grandfather in that short amount of time." Katara explained to me and I nodded, smiling at her
"No problem." I told her and she smiled at me.
(Time Skip to a week later or so)
I was now watching Zuko and Aang practice Fire Bending, the Book of Forms has been also helpful for Aang in his learning of Fire Bending which made me give myself a self high five
