Lea's Coronation outfit on top. -Golden

Lea's POV (Morning of the Coronation)

I stared out my window that was positioned right above where the Coronation was going to be held, watching as maids and helpers got everything ready for this evening. I was hiding away in my room for the time being, locked in my own room, not wanting to get in the way of others as they prepared for the Coronation. I sighed, pulling my knees up to my chest as I wandered away into my own thoughts.

It's kinda hard to believe that The 100 Year War has been over for over a week now, that Ozai was currently rotting in a prison cell for his crimes, Azula getting the help she needs for her unstable mental mind while also serving her own time. Zuko was going to be crowned as Fire Lord tonight, Aang redeeming himself as the Avatar, families coming back together. Everyone is happy that the war was over, I thought I was be ecstatic to but it's the opposite of that, I feel Empty. Emptiness is consuming me, why do I feel this way? I should be happy that the war was over, that all the nations were finally at peace with one another after so long. I haven't been with Team Avatar for long, maybe that's why, maybe because my lifestyle was being a thief, helping people from being sent off to war against their will, giving starving families food and water because of the war. My lifestyles was gone, my entire way of life was over and done with. What use can I be to others now?

I jumped when someone banged on the door, scaring me out of my thoughts. I cleared my throat before speaking

"Who's there?" I asked, getting off the window ledge and walking towards the door still in my sleepwear

"Your partner in crime." I rolled my eyes, unlocking the door and opening it to see Shinya standing there, still covered in dirt and smelled of muck. I coughed, waving the putrid smell away

"What's that smell?" I asked him, covering my mouth and nose. He chuckled, scratching the back of his head

"I was helping my dad with one of his inventions for the coronation tonight and.... It kinda exploded on us." He informed me and I lightly laughed at him, shaking my head

"You better clean up before the coronation." I told him and he shrugged, extending his arms out to me

"How about I give you a hug-" I glared at him, taking a step back

"Don't even think about it, Shinya." I warned him and he smirked at me, taking a step towards me

"Shinya.." I drawled out his name, taking another step back from him. Instead of one, he took two steps towards me, looking down at me menacingly. I squeaked like a mouse before taking off, running past him. I heard his heavy footsteps run after me, having me pump my legs faster, it being hard considering the fact that I was wearing a nightgown. I ran around a corner, only to stop once I ran into Uncle Iroh

"Finally out of bed I see-" Before he could finish his sentence, Shinya came around the corner, picking me up having me squeal in fright, flailing my arms and legs around to try and get out of his tight grip

"Oh, Morning Shinya." Uncle greeted Shinya, unfazed by my flailing of limbs

"Morning Iroh." I huffed, crossing my arms in defeat, pouting in anguish

"I was just on my way to your room Princess Lea, it is time for your royal fittings for tonight's coronation." I groaned, knowing the maids would want me to try on as many dresses as they wish

"And maybe request a bath as well, Shinya's muck is rubbing off on you." I groaned again, glaring at Shinya slightly making him grin in triumph before letting me go. I stuck my tongue out at him before running away, planning my revenge on the inventor's oldest son.
