Chapter 18The smile

The Address Anna had sent to her was half an hour away from her house. She completely ignored the person sitting beside her and focused on her phone.
She has tried calling the 'unknown number' but it never seems to go through. She was really starting to be curious about who this person was.

She decided to save his number as ' my Stalker'

She smiled looking at the name meanwhile Jayden was trying to come up with something to say to her.

" I heard the party is gonna be lit. Aren't you excited?"

He asked but she didn't bother to respond. He could only sigh and stared sour the window looking at the city's light.

Within a few minutes, they arrived at the destination. Prissy paid the Uber driver and got down from the car, followed by Jayden.

The party was held at a hotel his dad owned. Matt's parents have been abroad managing their companies and only come to visit once a year on Christmas. So Matt has the freedom to do whatever he wants since his parents weren't around..

The music and lights could be heard and seen from miles away. Almost half of the school had come to the party. Girls wearing their short revealing clothes whole some of the guys drank alcohol and others flirt with girls. She- Prissy- wouldn't have come had May not pleased with her to.

Matt, seeing Jayden and Prissy had arrived, he walked towards them with a glass of beer in his hand.

"Hey you two! Jayden you made it. I thought you wouldn't come since you were new and all"

Matt said and gave Jayden a hand shake.

Prissy glared at Jayden who only flashed her a smile.

"And look who you came with... Crestview's Princess. Damn Jay, you got yourself a girlfriend this quick"

Prissy wanted to puke hearing what Matt just said. Girlfriend? She? Prissy was about to retort when she felt Jayden's arm around her waist. He had pulled her close to himself and smiled at Matt.

"Well... What can I say. I'm just lucky I guess"

Prissy was lost. She was about to pull herself from him but her only tightened his grip on her. His fingers were touching her bare waist and for some reason, it felt warm.

"Aaaah Prissy you came!!!"

Anna run towards her and engulfed her into a broke cracking hug. That's when Jayden let go of her and left her alone with her friends.

Behind Anna was May.

Anna pulled back from the hug and smiled cheekily at her. She wore a hot red strapless dress which reached a few inches above her knees exposing her milky legs. Her hair was let loose and cascaded behind her like water. She had light make-up on with a cherry coloured lipstick.

" I can't believe you made it..."
Anna said. Excitement laced in her voice.

"Yeah me too."

"And you brought Jayden along with you?...cool"

May said. Prissy turned back and saw that Jayden had left with Matt to where the boys were. He laughed at something Matt said then his gaze travelled to where she stood with her friends.
She looked away the moment their eyes met and she and her friends walked into the building.

" I can't believe you brought Prissy to the party man."

One of the boys who's name he had just found to be Chris said to him.

"Yeah dude. She's like the hottest girl in school. And to think you're new.."

Another guy said. Jayden just smiled and didn't answer their questions. He knew Prissy didn't want anyone finding out their related that's why he didn't correct Matt when he called her his girlfriend. And besides...this way,the boys eyes won't be on her.

"... damn I bet you've kissed her. So tell me, how's it like kissing Crestview's princess"

One of the guys teased.

"...I can swear those lips taste like cherry. I'd kill just to touch her"

Somehow,this conversation about Prissy was starting to get on his nerves. Like how dare they talk like this about his sister!

Matt, meanwhile realized Jayden's shift in mood and immediately said to the boys around.

" Hey enough. Let's go inside and have some fun"

The boys agreed and head into the building. Matt turned back and Asked Jayden if he won't join them.

" I'll join soon. You guys should carry along "

Matt just pat his back and left Jayden.

Inside.

Prissy couldn't believe how people were enjoying this kind of noise. It wasn't like she had never been to a party. She normally goes to parties. One's where the only loud sound it the sound of cello's and violins but this.... it's like the whole place would explode with this kind of noise.

People were dancing to the music on the dance floor while Prissy just sat at the bar sipping a glass of fruit juice when she received a message.

My stalker: You look bored,love....why don't you join the others on the dance floor.

Prissy:  why don't you ask me for a dance hm...?

My stalker: Nahh I'd rather sit here watching you. You look gorgeous btw. *Heart emoji*

Prissy didn't realize she had smiled. This person was the first person to tell her she looked good.

My stalker: it's that a smile I see?

Prissy: No

She immediately stopped smiling and replied

My Stalker: oh...I thought I saw a smile. Anyway,why was the new kid holding you earlier?
