I was in my room studying for finals when I heard a knock on my window. I looked over but decided to ignore it as I was busy with finals. But the knock happened again. I groaned and got up as I trudged to my window. I opened it and Spidey came stumbling into my room and fell onto the floor. "Holy shit! What happened to you!?" I said shocked. I helped Spiderman up and helped him onto my bed so he could be comfortable.

"You should see the other guy." He huffed out a laugh.

I rolled my eyes at his comment. "Could you help me? It feels like my body burns." He said groaning as he repositioned himself. I saw his suit was cut and scratched up revealing cuts and bruises on his skin. They looked like they were actively bleeding so I went to my attached bathroom and grabbed some supplies I'd need to help him. "Well, whatever happened I'm glad you won." I said as I laid all the things next to him. He looked at the first-aid supplies I laid next to him. "Are any of these going to sting?" He said a little worried.

"You just got beaten up and you're worried about a sting from anti-bacterial spray?" I said stifling a laugh.

I then looked at his cuts and looked up at him awkwardly. "What?" He said nervously noticing my face. "Your suit is in the way of the cuts. Are you able to..uhm... are you able to take it off enough for me to clean it?" I asked awkwardly. His body stiffened but soon relaxed as he nodded his head. He took his suit off enough to reveal his torso. Even though he was fairly skinny he had a decent amount of muscle on him. "What?" He asked nervously. 'I must've been staring..' I thought as I looked up at his masked face.

"Nothing I just didn't expect you to have muscle." I said as I shrugged.

I got my supplies ready to use as I heard him lightly scoff. "Did you expect me to be scrawny? I fight bad guys for a living!" He said pretending to be offended. "Yeah, I know. But to be fair, your suit does make you look scrawny." I said as I cleaned the blood off of his skin. His breathing quickened as his breaths were short. I looked at him suspiciously. "It's cold." He said meekly. I softly laughed as I grabbed the next needed supply.

"Ok, this is going to sting. If you're a big boy and take it well I'll give you a lollipop." I spoke as if I was talking to a young child.

"Hey! I'm not some- ow!"

"Ssh don't be so loud! And there's no way that hurt." I spoke sternly.

I finished cleaning up his injuries and bandaged the deep cuts. "Ok, you big baby you're all done. Unless you have some on your face." I said looking up at his masked face. He quickly put his suit back on all the way. "I don't think I'm ready for another person knowing my identity." He said as he lightly touched the base of his mask. "Someone knows who you are?" I asked curiously. "A friend of mine." He replies vaguely as he tries to stand up.

I help him up and take him to my bathroom, where I sit him on the edge of the tub. "Use these if you find any cuts on your face. There's directions on the back." I said handing him the leftover first aid supplies. I left my bathroom closing the door behind me. I heard shuffling followed by a thud and muffled 'shit' I couldn't help but silently laugh. "How'd you get so good at first aid anyway?" He asked through the door. "My mom used to fall a lot when the cancer was bad. I got better with practice." I explained.

There was a mumbled 'sorry' on the other side. I softly smiled to myself as I leaned against the closed doorframe. 'I know I've known him for a while.. but something about him seems a little too familiar. Like I know him outside of his double life... maybe I do? He is my age after all. And Dad knows something about him. What if that's why Dad wanted me to go to that specific high school? Because he goes there and could protect me?' I was snapped out of my thoughts by the door opening.

I saw Spiderman leaning against the opposite side of the doorframe matching my relaxed crossed-arms pose. "Thank you for helping me." He said cheerfully. I felt my cheeks flush and I averted my gaze as I meekly replied a little 'no problem.' "About that night..the night a couple of nights ago...you know, the kiss.." Spidey started nervously. I looked back at him flustered. I never expected him to bring it up, I didn't think it meant anything to him, I thought it was just him acting in the moment.

That night meant a lot to me though...

"Oh yeah.. what about it?" I asked trying to act cool.

He let out a small quick sigh possibly from trying to build up the courage to follow through with the conversation he started. Followed by the sigh was him rambling on about how he shouldn't have done that because he barely knew me and he could put me in a lot of danger if anyone caught wind of us. "You are aware that I'm Iron Man's daughter right? I'd imagine I'm in danger either way." I said interrupting his rambling session.

There was a small pause of silence. "Yeah, yeah you're right but.." Spidey said as he went back to his rambling. 'Does this mean he wants to be with me?' I thought to myself. Then there was a knock at my door. We both froze and stared at the door then at each other. I must've looked like a deer in headlights, I certainly felt like one. I quickly pushed Spiderman into my bathroom and closed the door as quietly as I could. I quickly scrambled to my door, gained my composure then opened the door.

"Sorry I know it's late...were you talking to someone?" Mom asked.

"I was on the phone with a friend, yeah. What's up?" I asked.

"Your father wants to see you."

I went to where Mom said Dad was, his office. It's 11 pm, I hope he's able to finish his work soon so he can sleep. I softly knocked on the door and then walked in. He looked up from his stack of papers and motioned me to take a seat. I quickly did so. Even though I've gotten to know him pretty well throughout my time living with him, he's still intimidating. I think that might be because I've originally known him as this crazy rich superhero and now he's my dad and I'm scared of making him disappointed.

"I'd appreciate it if you stop trying to log into the superhero information. That's all very classified and private information." He spoke with a slightly disappointed tone.

My heart stopped, I knew I couldn't hide it from him but still. I quickly nodded my head and swallowed the frog at the back of my throat. A part of me wanted to successfully find Spiderman's identity and gloat to my dad about being able to beat his security, thinking that would make him somehow proud of me. A weird big stretch I'm aware. 'I think I'm just going to focus on school..' I thought to myself. "I'm sorry, I won't do it again." I said quickly. "Although.." He started as he sorted his papers. "I am surprised with how far you've gotten into it." He said slightly smiling.

I looked at him surprised. 'That, I was not expecting.' I admitted to myself. "Just don't do it again." He said as he pointed at me. I quickly nodded, agreeing that I wouldn't do it again. He then told me that was all and that I could go back to bed. I was met with Mom on the other side of the door, it seemed like she was waiting for me. "I didn't want to intrude in case it was important." She said with an awkward smile. "Could you give this to your father?" She asks holding out a small folder. I nodded my head and took the folder in hand.

I turned around and walked back up to my dad at his desk. He noticed I was back and looked up. "I was told to give this to you. I wasn't told what it was though." I said as I handed him the folder. He looked at me holding it out for him to take, he looked like he was in thought. He slightly shrugged his shoulders to himself and took the folder from my hands as he thanked me. Then I went back to my room.

Once I was in my room and everything was ok I softly knocked on my bathroom door. "It's me, (Y/n)." I whispered. The door slowly opened and there was Spidey. "What happened?" He asked still a little on edge. "My dad wanted to see me because he noticed I was snooping earlier. Well, trying to at least." I said keeping out the details. "You tried snooping on the Tony Stark? Bold." He said as he walked into my room. Spidey looked at the clock on my bedside table and cursed under his breath.

"It's midnight, I gotta go. We'll continue this talk later. If you want to." He said as he jumped out of my window.
