~{Chapter 3}~*This chapter is about when May❤️and Drew💚finally made it into *Nimbrasa🏙City* just in time to register for the contest. After the event, they go sightseeing in the city and seeing the famous "Lover's hill" to end the night🌃gazing at the stars💫✨🌟together❤️💚as a couple❤️. I hope you like it, Enjoy!*

*The day of the Nimbrasa Contest, in the Pokémon Center in May and Drew's shared cabin room*
*10:00 a.m.*
May woke up stretching out of bed while looking at the window🪟outside to see that it was morning and today is going to be a "good day" cause today's the Nimbrasa City Pokemon Contest as she planned on winning that ribbon🎀today! No matter who gets in her way... meaning her boyfriend Drew😉. Speaking of, he did the same thing too getting up out of bed and looking at his "beautiful" girlfriend❤️and saying. "Morning May," Drew said greeting her sweetly at her bedside. "Morning, Drew," May replied softly with a smile excited about today. Then, they looked deeply into each other's eyes seeing stars, and then immediately shared a "morning kiss" which lasted about a minute or two because of the amount of things they had to do today before the contest started. After breakfast in the Pokemon Center cafe for all Trainers/Pokemon Coordinators with their Pokemon to get an well healthy balanced meal for their training and be in tip-top shape for their battles and Contests... which is exactly what May had in mind thinking about doing some extra training as she and Drew were outside and said to him because of it. "How about a little practice battle before the contest? Glaceon❄️VS. Flareon🔥. What do you say?" May said competitively challenging Drew, her boyfriend💚to a *contest battle* to get warmed up before the Nimbrasa contest starts at "one" today while holding Glaceon's Pokeball in her hand. Since they both already registered for the contest and ahead of time! "You're on! May," Drew said accepting his girlfriend❤️'s challenge while holding Flareon's Pokeball ready for battle. "Come on out, Flareon!" Drew said bringing out his fire-type🔥Pokemon to do a practice warm-up battle against May before the Nimbrasa Contest starts at one today. "Glaceon, take the stage!" May said unleashing her ice-type❄️Pokemon as well landing on the ground with beauty and grace. Then, the battle began! "Glaceon use ice Beam!" May says calling out her first attack. "Flareon use fire spin to counter that Ice beam!" Drew said making the next move to counter her ice attack by using fire to melt the ice. As the collision of fire & ice clashed with each other neither side was backing down and then began again! "Glace use swift around you and combine it with ice fang!" May said out loud making the first move to attack with an combination of normal & Ice.  "You do the same but you fire fang!" Drew said flipping his green hair for dramatic effect suggesting Flareon use the same technique but combined it with a fire attack move instead of ice. It ended in a tie! May and Drew both told their Pokemon what a good job they did and then returned them quickly to their Pokeballs to get a good rest after the warm-up practice contest battle was over. They both planned to take them to the Pokemon Center to get healed up by Nurse Joy and her helper nurse Pokemon "Audino" to be ready for the contest cause they were going to use Flareon and Glaceon for the performance round. "That was a great contest practice battle! May, you've gotten good and amazing at your attack combinations." Drew said impressed by her. "Thanks for the kind words Drew, and you were pretty amazing yourself," May said "Grateful" for her boyfriend's comment on her contest battling skills while also, amazed by his own battle style in countering her combination attacks even though it ended in a "tie" but it was a great battle. No doubt about that! "I'm looking forward to facing you in the final round," Drew said excited to face his girlfriend today in the final contest battle to see who decides to get the ribbon🎀and who will be victorious. "Same, Drew," May said shaking his hand feeling the same way.

*The Nimbrasa🏙City Contest begins*
*1:00 p.m.*
The contest started out quite nicely and beautifully with every Pokémon Coordinator demonstrating their Pokemon's moves in beautiful combinations and showing off their beauty, grace, clever, coolness, and cuteness while Drew brought out his Flareon to show off its flames, true power💥, and beauty as a fire🔥type Pokemon and then he did his usual *gentlemanly* bow in ending things as his score was a high point "31.4" while others got up to either 18.1, 20.4, 25.8 or even 27/29.9. Now, it was May's turn to shine as she brought out Warotle to show its "beauty" and "grace" as a water🌊type. She❤️changed at the last minute when Nurse Joy said that it would take longer for her Glaceon to recover or heal. Okay, warotle tune to wrap this up with ice beam!" May said ordering her Pokemon to finish their performance with one last attack combination by freezing the entire stage/battlefield with ice as Warotle began skating on the ice floor gracefully like an Olympic ice skater jumping into the air and guiding itself with its wavey tail to balance and stuck the landing posing beautifully as a water Pokémon in the ending the performance with "grace" as May bowed down like a *lady* beside her Pokémon. The judges were impressed with her amazing combination of water & ice as they cheered for May and Warotle🌊in a beautiful, stunning performance and gave her a score of "34.9". "A perfect performance by a beautiful✨girl. You were really surprised today. May," Drew said romantically handing his girlfriend a red🌹rose to her a good job on her performance with her Warotle displaying a lovely showcase of water type Pokémon in its grace and beauty. She smiled. "Again with the roses🌹! Drew," May said grabbing the rose from him💚and sniffing it while blushing a bit. "If you want me to stop giving you roses then I'll stop," Drew said flipping his hair for dramatic flair while flirting with his girlfriend❤️. "No, of course not. I love it when you give me roses Drew, it's sweet and thanks, I had to come up with a combination for Warotle last minute due to Glaceon still being treated at the Pokemon Center. Besides, my Warotle is a natural born performer! I've known that from the start since it was a little Squirtle." May said with a smile Grateful for Drew, her boyfriend "Always" giving her red roses🌹as a kind sweet gesture while explaining why she didn't use Glaceon in the *performance stage round*. "That makes sense but I'm impressed that you were still able to pull it off," Drew said. Then, they gazed into each other's eyes deeply in love❤️about to kiss until a certain purple-haired weirdo *rival* interrupted the two lovebirds by saying. "Well, if this isn't sweet. The nice power couple bonding over their love and still thinking that you'll win. Well, too bad 'cause that ribbon🎀is as good as mine." Harley her old nemesis said cruely to them❤️💚for dramatic effect when walking into the coordinator lounge making fun of May and Drew as a couple. Like he "always" does! "Oh, hi! Harley. You're here too, that's great. You better not try any of your old tricks on me again," May said annoyed while rolling her eyes at him in sarcasm and really wasn't in a mood for dealing with him today. "Why don't you just leave May alone for once! Besides, my girlfriend has gotten a lot stronger since the last time you two faced off." Drew said standing up for his girlfriend againest her nemesis like any boyfriend would do. "Oh, your girlfriend uh? So, you two are public now last time at the Johto Grand Festival you Drew, were just so into May you wanted to tell her how you felt about her after it was over so, afraid that she would reject you. But here we are a "year" later at the Nimbrasa City today," Harley said trying to break May and Drew apart. Then, May stood up from the bench and said feeling "brave". "Enough Harley, I know what you are trying to do! Turning us against each other to tear us apart... so, you can just swoop down and steal that ribbon having is distracting by each other. But it won't work I know you games so you can't fool me because that ribbon is as good as mine or Drew's and not yours. Harley, Let's settle this on the battlefield! May the best coordinator win," May said standing up showing her firey🔥fighting spirit❤️‍🔥while seeing right through Harley's true colors and wasn't falling for it again. "Fine, have it your way. Battlefeild it is... but I have to warn you two lovebirds you haven't seen anything yet cause I have a new Pokémon that I caught here in the Unova Region and whoever I face in the next round is in for a surprise, Tata. May and Drew," Harley said meanly in doubting that she'll be able to get to the second round While walking away in "style". Like he always does!
