May❤️& Drew💚: Battle partners!

~{Chapter 13}~*This chapter is about when May decides to introduce Drew to her family after coming home to Hoenn in Petalberg City after winning the Grand Festival in the *Unova* Region together as "Battle Partners". 6 Years after that, Drew decided to propose to his girlfriend in asking for her hand in marriage to spend the rest of his life with her and to have a family of their own "someday". After asking May's parents for blessings of course, their answer was an instant "Yes"! I hope you like it, Enjoy!*

*In Hoenn, in the streets of Petalberg City of May's hometown near her parent's house*
*3:00 p.m.*
"Drew, I'm so excited for you to meet my family! I know that you've already met my little brother max but you're gonna love my parents!" May said excitedly walking hand-in-hand with Drew, her boyfriend💚getting closer to her house🏠as she was excited for them all to meet and was being extra positive about it too. "I'm sure, that they will but I'm kind of nervous about meeting your parents, to be honest. May, especially, your father. I just hope that he likes me." Drew said trembling with nervousness about meeting May's parents since her father is the gym leader of the *Petalberg Gym* and really wanted to make a good first impression on him to have approvable of dating his daughter. "Don't be. They'll love you!" May said thinking positively with the brightest smile on her face. This made Drew smile as well and his nervousness immediately faded away in a matter of seconds in trusting his girlfriend's words. Then, they reached the doorstep as May's parents greeted them at the door and said. "Welcome to the family! Drew," Caroline May's mom said excitedly in a warm welcome and immediately hugged him and welcomed Drew, her daughter's boyfriend to the family already. "Mom. Let him breathe." May said begging her mother to stop suffocating him and to let Drew breath. "Sorry, I'm just so excited for you dear, I "always" knew that you two were made for each other! Since the moment I saw you two I wanted you to be my son-in-law. Maybe even some grandkids," Caroline replied softly letting go of Drew hugging him too tightly, and letting him breathe for some air.

Drew chuckled nervously when May's mom was already mentioning "marriage". May cleared her throat and said to cut the awkward silence when seeing her father glaring at Drew. "So, what do you think? Dad, you like Drew? Because I love him and I want to know how you feel?" May asked her father if he approve of Drew to be her boyfriend. "I think..." May's Dad Norman said softly crossing his arms for a dramatic pause and then finally said. "It's amazing! I approve of you, Drew, you are worthy of my daughter. What matters to me is your happiness. May," Norman replied as an understanding father. "Thanks, dad, it means a lot to me," May said smiling happily grateful for her dad's approval of Drew being her boyfriend and cutting him some slack in not being hard on him. "See what I tell you, my parents love you!" May said. "Yeah, you're right," Drew said softly relieved that she was right after all and now he can finally relax because of it.

*2 Years later*
May and Drew have been dating for at least two years and they've been traveling the world🌍 together❤️💚to every "region" competing in Pokemon contests and even the Showcases in *Kalos* and they are both "Top coordinators" now! So, Drew pops the question of every guy's dreams of saying those 4 little words "Will You Marry Me?" to their girlfriend in asking for their hand in marriage💍. "This is beautiful. Quite a sight but what's this about anyway Drew, you know how you & I being in public in the same place attracting adoring fans especially in my hometown of all places! Don't you hate giving autographs?" May asked out of curiosity walking hand in hand with Drew, her boyfriend in the forest just outside of her hometown *Petalberg City*. "Everything will be fine, May. Just relax and trust me. You'll see." Drew replied sweetly to his girl in hinting that he has something special planned for her on their evening stroll. May smiled wondering what it is. "Wait, is that my Beautifly and Masquerain carrying rose🌹petals in a bag?" May questioned. they sprinkled it above their trainers in helping Drew with his proposal to be "perfect". He smiled. "Yes, indeed it is." Drew said softly confirming that May was "correct". Then, they sprinkled it above their trainers in helping Drew with his proposal for May to be "perfect". "I choose you. To be my wife and partner through everything in life. That if if you'll have me as your husband? May," Drew said dramatically in a romantic way down on one knee pulled out a Pokeball, and opened it up to "reveal" that there was an engagement ring💍. expressing proposing to May as he said those very words. "So, Will you marry me?" He💚finally said it making a romantic gesture by asking May, his girlfriend❤️for her hand in marriage. "Of course, I'll marry you! A thousand times "yes"! Drew, I love you with all of my heart." May said excitedly in tears of joy and immediately jumped into his arms answering his question in an instant "Yes". "I'm glad to hear that May, you make me so happy! I can't wait to marry you and be your husband!" Drew said spinning her around in his arm to express his feelings about how he felt when May said "Yes," to marrying💍him💚and he couldn't be happier than to marry the Woman he loves. "Oh, but please tell me that you asked my parents for their blessing before you asked me to marry you?" May asked out of curiosity breaking their warm embrace.

"Of course, I did! May, I'm not that stupid or forgetful to ask you to marry me without asking for your parent's blessing?" Drew answered truthfully. "Good," May said as she put on the engagement ring on her finger in making it official that she and Drew were "engaged". Then, they looked deeply into each other's eyes feeling so much love right now and so, May and Drew shared an epic romantic kiss to express their feelings of love for one another about someday getting married to be Husband💚& Wife❤️!
