~{Chapter 11}~*This chapter is about when May and Drew go up against each other in the Final round of the *Unova* Grand Festival who will decide who is the "Top Coordinator" of the Unova region once and for all? Who will win? Or will it end in a tie😅. I hope you like it, Enjoy!*
*The finals of the Unova Grand Festival* *6:00 p.m.* "It is time for the final round of the Grand Festival to have a double battle who will decide the Winner and take home the ribbon cup! Let's bring out our finalists... On my right is Drew and on my left is May. Coordinators. Are you ready to go? Good. Then, let's begin!" Abigail said optimistically with excitement starting the match between the two coordinators "May" from Petalberg🏙City in the *Hoenn region* and "Drew" from *LaRousse City* also, in "Hoenn" as well. So, they immediately brought out their Pokemon ready to get this show on the road! "Blastoise and Blaziken on stage!" May said bringing out her two Pokemon on the stage battlefield to face Drew, her boyfriend, and win it. They landed on the ground with grace & style ready to perform and battle in leading their trainers to victory! "Roserade and Dewott you're on!" Drew said bringing out his two Pokemon on the battlefield stage in leading him to victory against his girl. "Five minutes on the clock! So, let's get... busy!" Abigail said raising her hand in the air with excitement in her voice to start the final double battle of the "Unova Grand Festival" beginning to decide the winner. "Magical Razor shell leaf!" Drew said calling out the first attack on his new combination of water & grass. May smiled at Drew's clever combination as she had a feeling that he would do something like that. "Blastoise freeze that magical razor shell leaf combination with your ice beam and Blaziken use sky upper cut on the ice and send it back at it!" May said out loud using her counter attack against Drew's combination. Roserade and Dewott took a direct hit from their combination being used against them. Which cost Drew some points! "Trying to use my combination against me? Clever girl, but it won't work. Roserade and Dewott use poison jab and brick break!" Drew said flipping his green grass-like hair in the air for dramatic effect having a counter-combination attack in mind. Which cost May some points as well! She❤️gasped in shock "unsure" of what to do next if Drew kept on using her own combinations against her and doing the same to his combinations wouldn't be enough. "What can I do? I'm turning out of time! If I don't do something now then I'll fail... and I promised Drew that I would give it my all in the finals and I'd be breaking it if I can't think of something fast! All that intense training and preparation with my Pokemon will be for nothing!" May thought out loud to herself in panic feeling overwhelmed and starting to lose a bit. Until she looked at her Pokemon on the *stage battlefield* and realized that Blastoise and Blaziken must being feeeling her stress and nervousness. Cause if the trainer is feeling overwhelmed with stress then of course their Pokemon is too! At that moment, May looked into her Pokemon's eyes while hearing nothing but silence and her heart beating. She knew exactly what to do now. Cause as long as she is "one" with her Pokemon then there's nothing May needs to worry about. So, she took a deep breath and quickly calmed down and said out loud because of it giving her Pokemon an combination command before Drew, her boyfriend had a chance to. "Okay, time for a new fusion combination! Blaziken use overheat! Blastoise use hydro cannon!" May said fired up with passion and determination calling out a fusion combination with new moves creating a "blue flame" made of water and fire to pack an powerful punch to her opponent. "Your famous fire/water fusion combination? It's gotten Stronger. Well, I'm impressed! May, but you haven't seen anything yet. Roserade uses Petal Blizzard and Dewott uses Aqua Jet!" Drew said having another counter combination up his sleeve. The power of grass/water & fire/water combinations collided with each other creating a powerful explosion💥in the middle of the stage sending both Pokemon double teams back.
Blastoise and Dewott both got knocked out as that two combinations of fire/water fusion and grass/water combinations collided with one another creating a powerful blast sending both water types down for the count unable to battle. "Blaziken, it's you and me," May said to her partner Pokemon confidently that they'll defeat Drew and his Roserade. As Blaziken's fire🔥around in its wrists flamed on getting all pumped and fired up to win this for its trainer! "Roserade don't underestimate Blaziken," Drew said to his partner Pokemon do not misjudge and to stay on guard from any sudden attack combinations or movements. Roserade nodded in agreement keeping that in mind prepared for anything Blaziken throws at it. Even an fire🔥 attack! "We come such a long way. Drew, leading us up to this point. We went from hating each other, adoring becoming rivals to friends and now lovers/partners facing off against one another in the finals at the Unova "Grand Festival". And I'll win this!" May thought to herself❤️. Blaziken and Roserade looked at their trainers seeing determination and confidence as they both nodded at May and Drew ready to give it their all! "Blaziken time for a Sky uppercut and then combine it with Aerial Ace!" May said loudly calling out the first attack with a new move that she's been needing to try out for some time. "Roserade block that combination with a magical leaf and energy ball!" Drew said using yet Again another counterattack combination. They were both evenly matched with their powers and strengths as fire and grass types! But neither side was backing down... That's when Roserade's special ability called "Natural Cure" affected restoring its health to an 100%and Blaziken's special ability "blaze" makes its fire-type moves extra strong & powerful. This makes this an interesting contest one-on-one battle against a grass and fire type in making this a final battle to memory in the "Unova Grand Festival". They both planned to go all out with little time that they had left! "Blaziken it's time to wrap this up with a fire spin!" May said calling out a strong fire attack to finish this once in for all with one move. "Roserade let's also, finish this with an solar beam!" Drew said thinking of the same thing that his girlfriend was. As both attacks were fired from their bodies to finish this final battle of the festival to decide the winner in the little time that May & Drew have left!
All the judges were speechless and only one word could describe how amazing that performance double battle was. And that is "Flawless," that's when the time on the digital clock ran out to reveal that May and Drew's points. "Time is up. Let's see who wins this Year's Grand Festival in the *Unova* region. Will it be May or Drew??" Abagail said when the time ran out on the digital clock on the screen as both Pokemon were still standing. She gasped. "It's a "tie"! Wow. This is a first. I never seen anything like this before." Abagail said out loud in complete shock not expecting the final battle of the grand festival to be a "tie". May and Drew gasped in shock that their points were actually a "tie" too. Then, Abagail looks to the judges for their thoughts on how to decide which coordinator wins the Unova Grand Festival. They all nodded their heads in disagreement to not having a clue what to do at this point. So, they decided to gather around on the stage in coming up with a plan on how to make a smart decision about who should win the ribbon cup and become Top Coordinator of the Unova Region. *Whisper-whisper* *Whisper-whisper* *Whisper-whisper* *Whisper-whisper* *whisper-Whisper*But May❤️and Drew💚were both evenly matched and performed "perfectly"! So what should they do? "Okay, me and the judges have come to a decision... since you both gave an outstanding, amazing performance in your battle it's clear that you are truly top coordinators and battle partners as a couple! So, We decided to give you both the Ribbon Cup and the winners of the "Unova Grand Festival"! Abagail said walking up to May & Drew to tell them that they both deserve to have the Ribbon🎀Cup🏆after giving an amazing performance in the finals today.
"I'm sorry, but I never expected this would happen. We have only one ribbon cup here," Nurse Joy said unsure what to do since there was only one Ribbon Cup🏆. It is the "Grand Festival" after all😅! Then, May and Drew gave each other looks knowing exactly what to do in this situation and both❤️💚said. "Don't worry about it. Abagail, we know exactly what to do." May added confidently with an idea in mind. Drew nodded in agreement thinking the same thing! As they both held up the Ribbon cup together in the air together as a couple announcing to the whole world and audience that they were both victorious of becoming the "Top Coordinators" of the *Unova* Region. "Now, that looks like a real bond of Partnership as a couple! Sharing their victory and trophy as well. Congratulations May and Drew!" Abigail said totally shipping them and clapping for them winning the grand festival this year. May❤️and Drew💚held their trophy🏆together while waving to everyone with all their Pokemon beside them who helped them both get here today coming this far in the "Grand Festival". Then, they smiled back at each other and giggled a bit sharing a small laugh that they both tied evenly matched to winning the ribbon cup⬇️.
