"Fili, Kili, what is the matter?" I ask them as soon as I could connect my magic to their rings after I felt the magical shift.
"Uhhh.......W-well, you see..." Kili was the one to answer my question, clearly nervous, whether at my possible reaction or the situation they are currently in, I did not know "We may have been captured by Goblins."
"How in the name of the Elements did all of you manage to be captured by Goblins?" I question, completely appalled that this could happen while Gandalf and I were not there to oversee the Company.
"If I may, Sister." Fili spoke next, obviously cautious of my growing anger "It might be wiser, and faster, if you saw what happened to land us in this...predicament."
And show me they did. I saw the path they took after leaving Imladris, traveling through hills and cliffsides, encountering the Stone Giants - which left me shocked, as I was made to believe they were a myth - them finding a cave to stay the night and then falling through the floor, leading to their capture at the Goblins' hands. I also saw their arrival at Goblin-town, being "bestowed an audience" with the Goblin King and Thorin doing something utterly unwise, revealing himself to this horrendous ruler, who then sends word to the pale Orc?! Such things could not have come at an unwanted time.
"Gandalf, can you hear me?!" I reach for the Wizard, feeling a desperation so great it borders on hysterics.
"I hear you, my dear." he says, making my despair lose its hold on my heart "What seems to be the matter?"
