Narrator

Inside the Hobbit hole, no one dared to speak after Almárëa's confession, not only because the they do not know how to respond to such a question but also because they cannot, not even in their wildest dreams, begin to understand what must be like to be the last one of an entire race, so they could not help her.

"Oh well, let us not let what has passed affect the here and now." Almárëa says softly, snapping the Dwarves out of their trance "Since I was introduced, I believe it is only fair you do so as well, don't you think?"

"As you already know, I am Thorin, son of Thrain, King Under the Mountain" Thorin tells the fairy, bowing his head a little "On that note, I must ask for your forgiveness, my Lady in regards to my rudeness earlier. I sincerely hope you find it in your heart to forgive me."

Everyone, Almárëa included, was in a state of pure bewilderment at what they just heard. Never had they thought of hearing Thorin being polite and apologizing, unless of course if being forced to do it counts as having heard him utter such words.

Almárëa simply waves the gesture aside, dismissing it as two of the Dwarves come forward "'Tis quite alright, there is nothing to forgive and between you and I, I could not hold a grudge for the life of me." then she takes notice of the two Dwarves "And who might the two of you be?"

"I am Fili." came the blond Dwarf's voice "And I am Kili." the brunette Dwarf came next "Pleased to meet you, Lady Almárëa." both said and bowed at the same time.
