Have you ever looked at your feet? They are so weird! How do the toes balance you? And why do girls insist on painting them? They are just going I get dirty or covered up. They aren't even pretty. Especially not my feet. I don't paint my toenails. If they get long I cut them, but that is it.

The only reason I am looking at my feet is because I have them up on the dashboard of Abby's jeep.

"Rose. What on earth are you doing? You've been looking at your toes for the past fifteen minutes! They aren't going anywhere. And you're missing the view! Look!"

I hadn't realized that we were in Florida already. There was a bunch of palm trees blurring pass us as we drove down the highway.

"Sorry. How far away are we?" I asked looking around.

"You have the map remember?"

I can feel her rolling her eyes at me. We couldn't find our destination anywhere on Google Maps so we had to bring the big one from Abby's basement. The dart is still stuck in the map so we know where to look.

"Oh, according to the map, we have about five more miles to go," I remarked looking out the window. Woah. I really was missing the view. There were palm trees and open fields everywhere. With the sun setting, it was absolutely beautiful. The weather is perfect as well. The air is warm and there are no clouds in the sky. I had lathered on sunscreen because there is no top to the jeep. I am snapped out of my staring when I hear Abby gasp.

"Rose. Look."

I turn my head forward to see what surprised her. I can't help myself from gasping either.
Right in front of us is a huge cave that the road leads into. There are no other turns and it is only a one way street.

"Where did that come from?" I ask wondering how I missed something that big.

"I have no idea," Abby answered as we drive into it, "I was driving and then bam, a cave. Is this on the map?"

I scramble for the map and look at the dart. Something is different. Did the map change? I hadn't see it before but this road is on there now. I nod as Abby takes her eyes off the road to look for the answer to her question.

We drive for a good half an hour until we see small lakes start forming on the side of the cave. The lakes are so blue that they are more vibrant than my eyes. I look at Abby and her face is stunned then worried as she slams on the brakes. I am jerked forward and I tell myself that I need to start looking out the windshield cause I keep missing everything.

As I look I see a huge grassy plain at least a mile long and a couple yards wide that curved into a U shape. On the other side of the plain is a blue water fall going into a sparkling lake which lights up the cave, and trails off for as far as I can see.

We haven't said a word. I'm not sure if we are excited or scared. The only noise is the car running and the water fall plunging into the lake.
