Y/N's POV:
Dad finally got discharged after a week. Grabe si Dad sa hospital, may sinasabi siya sa akin na may ipapakilala siya sa akin na lalaki. Like, I'm not interested in boys that much. Pero sabi ni Dad big deal daw din ito? Huh?
Me, mom, and dad are going to a restaurant to meet with the guy he was talking about. Nakakapagtaka nga lang, bakit kailangang sobrang gara ng suot ko? Usually, when we go to these types of places, I would only wear a t-shirt and cargo pants, or sometimes simple dresses.
"Y/N, sit down. They'll arrive soon."
They? Akala ko iisa lang? Bakit, "they?"
In a blink of an eye, I saw familiar faces walking towards our table. What the actual fuck? I-is that... Dale and his parents?
"Sup, Y/N. Long time no see, baby." He greeted me with an ugly smirk.
"Shut up, Dale. Hindi pa kita napapatawad sa ginawa niyo sa akin ni Felicia."
"Oh, is that so?" UGH! ANG PANGIT NIYA NGUMISI TALAGA LIKE, EWW!
"Dad, what is the meaning of this? Bakit nandito si Dale at ang family niya?"
"Well, allow them to sit down first before we discuss this matter."
Naupo sa tabi ko si Dale, di ko napigilan ang sarili ko na pandirian siya. Pft, bilis maniwala sa kasingungalingan kasi itong katabi ko.
"Well, now is the time to talk about our plans for our future couple." Dale's father explained.
"Mr. Esparcia, ano pong future couple ang sinasabi niyo po?"
"Javier, hindi mo pa pala nasasabi sa anak mo ang pinagkasunduan nating dalawa?" Mr. Esparcia added.
"Dad? What is the meaning of this?!" I slammed my hand on the table, I don't know where this is going. Pero may pakiramdam ako na may pinagplanuhan si Dad at ang tatay ni Dale.
"Y/N, you and Dale are getting married." Somebody please pinch me, anong ikakasal kay Dale?!
"Dad! Alam mo naman ang past namin ni Dale, 'di ba!? Bakit naisipan niyo pa itong arranged marriage na ito!?"
"Well, your Dad's business is in danger, ija. I offered to help him under one condition, and that is to get you married with my son, Dale. Don't worry, that was Dale's wish."
I can't believe what I was hearing right now. AKO? IKAKASAL? I'M LIKE EIGHTEEN AND A HALF!
"NUH UH, I am not getting married to Dale, Dad!" I later then turned to Dale."Dale naman, alam mong nasira na ang samahan natin, tapos gusto mo pa magpakasal? Bhe, ilang taon ka na? 20, 'di ba? 18 pa lang ako!"
"Listen, Y/N, if you don't get married with me, saan ka na titira kapag hindi tinulungan ng tatay ko ang tatay mo?"
"Ayan e, diyan kayo magaling. Kapag walang pagkukuhanan ng puhunan isasacrifice niyo ang buhay ng isa. Ano 'to, offering??"
"Y/N, don't you speak to me that way." Dad commanded.
"I'm sorry, Dad. But I can't do this, lalo na at hindi ko pa napapatawad si Dale at Felicia."
I ran away from the restaurant and what the hell? It started raining. I saw Dale chase me, but I took off my heels and ran into the rain.
"Uuwi ako sa'yo, Sheena."
