The taxi I rode was fast enough to go back to my house. I immediately went to my room and packed my belongings. As in, everything. I left the house and boarded a taxi on the way to NAIA.
While on board the taxi, I booked an economy flight. I had enough pocket money to afford a ticket.
"Uuwi na ako diyan, Sheena. Hintayin mo ako." I said in my mind as I prayed that she's still there.
I arrived at NAIA and waited for only an hour. I got into the plane and slept the whole flight.
I arrived at Aklan and booked a grab car on the way to Hotel Binibini. I booked the same room and went there immediately.
I knocked on Sheena's door. My heart skipped a beat as the door opened.
"Sino po sila?" I was shocked to see another girl inside Sheena's room. And the worst part of all, she is not one of the BINI members.
"WHERE'S SHEENA?" I got down my knees as I screamed.
"Sheena? Sino pong Sheena ang hanap ninyo?"
I wasn't believing anything, and instead, I went back to the lobby and asked the manager.
"Ma'am, ano pong kwarto si Sheena Catacutan?" I asked the manager, maybe I had the wrong room.
"Let me check po Ma'am." She checked her computer, I was praying that she didn't leave me. "Ma'am, wala pong nag-check in na ang name po ay Sheena Catacutan."
"What do you mean wala!? Diba nag-check in siya dito with seven more girls!? Imposible! Nakapangalan yun sa kaniya e!"
"Ma'am sorry po wala po talaga."
I just nodded and went back to my room. I noticed the crowd looking at me like I was a crazy girl.
As I lay down my bed, I was so curious about everything. How come walang nag check-in na Sheena Catacutan?
"Nak? Is this real!? Javier! Call the doctors!!" Nurses came rushing inside the room and checked Y/N's state.
"Good news, she's finally awake. That means her brain is finally functioning well again. This is a miracle, Mr. and Mrs. Alcantara."
"M-Mom? D-Dad?"
"Love, you're finally awake. My sweet angel." Mr. Alcantara said with teary eyes.
"Dad please, wag niyo akong ipakasal kay Dale. I hate him."
"Ipakasal? What do you mean, baby? 18 ka palang ayan na agad ang iniisip mo."
"Diba sabi niyo ipapakasal niyo ako kay Dale? Napagkasunduan niyo ng tatay niya? Because your company had a big loss?"
"Nak, your Dad's company never had a loss. What are you talking about?"
"Mom, anong nangyayari? Why are you guys acting na parang walang nangyari!?"
"Nak, walang nangyari. Remember? After ng fight mo with Felicia and your classmate, nahimatay ka and had a severe brain damage."
"Anong nahimatay, mom? Didn't you send me to Boracay? But then I had to go home kasi may nangyaring masama kay Daddy and he needed blood? Tapos pumunta tayo sa isang restaurant and dumating ang family ni Dale? And sinabi niyo sa akin na nagkaroon kayo ng tatay niya ng kasunduan na ikakasal kaming dalawa?"
Y/N's parents were quiet for a few minutes when Y/N's mother broke the silence.
"Nak, none of those happened. Yung break-up niyo ni Dale, totoo. Pero yung pinadala ka namin sa Boracay at inarranged marriage ka, none of those are true."
"Mom, don't make me a fool, please. I left somebody that I love so much. A girl that meant the whole world to me. Mom, hindi na ako colorblind, see!? I can tell colors na, that is pink, that is yellow. Mom, Sheena healed me."
"Who's Sheena?" Y/N's dad asked.
"The girl I love, Dad. She's the most beautiful and kindest being. I want to go back to Boracay and tell her that I'm sorry for leaving her."
"Nak, Sheena isn't real also. Remember? We didn't send you to Boracay. Nak, everything was a dream."
Y/N was silent for a moment. She didn't know what to believe.
"N-no. Sheena's real, BINI is real. They're real!"
"Nak, my company has a connection to PSA. There are no records about the girl you are talking about."
"Dad, she is real. Trust me. I can make you guys meet her."
Mr. Alcantara left the room and called Y/N's doctor.
"Y/N, can you please tell us everything that you know?"
"Mom and Dad sent me to a solo vacation sa Boracay, and while I was exploring, I saw eight girls performing. And when I looked at one girl from the group, I saw colors again. Her name is Sheena, Sheena Catacutan. She is a member of BINI, a P-POP group. I befriended her, and eventually nagkagusto ako sa kaniya. And then sa kalagitnaan ng bakasyon ko, Mom called me and said na may nangyari kay Dad and he lost a lot of blood, and I was the only one with the same bloodtype as my Dad. Bumalik ako ng Magallanes at doon naganap ang blood donating ko. Then, after a few weeks, pumunta kami sa isang restaurant kung saan nakipag meet-up kami sa pamilya ng ex ko na si Dale Esparcia. Doon sinabi ng tatay ni Dale na ikakasal kaming dalawa dahil nagkaroon ng loss ang company ng tatay ko. I ran away and went back to Aklan, and nag-book ako sa same hotel kung saan ako nag-stay during my vacation. Pero nang kumatok ako sa kwarto ni Sheena, ibang babae ang nandoon. Nagtanong ako sa manager, wala daw nag-check in na Sheena Catacutan."
"Oh my.." the doctor expressed. "Your daughter must have been dreaming during her comatose, and her brain had made up memories na hindi naman nangyari sa totoong buhay." The doctor explained.
Y/N was mesmerized by the doctor's words.
Was this all, a dream?
