-Vlad used to do self harm before meeting Jordan.
-The reason why was because of his grandfather's abuse, his step-siblings' bullying and his insecurities.
-Vlad gets scared whenever he visits his grandfather during holidays, because he knows his grandfather doesn't like him and sees him as a burden.
-Vlad's grandfather emotionally abuses him by degrading him, scolding him for minor mistakes, yelling at him whenever he would cry and insult him and his biological siblings for being born. Sometimes he would even blame Vlad for the death of his father, to the point where he would even say that Vlad's father died because of him.
-Vlad's abusive step-siblings weren't that much better because they would often bully him and blame him for many things, including Vlad's dad's death. They even said that Vlad's stepfather hated him deep down and see him as a mistake, which he took hardly.
-Vlad would usually do self harm by cutting his wrists with sharp objects, including knives, scalpels, razor blades and his own pocket knife.
-Vlad masks his insecurites by pretending to be the shady, stand-offish man because his grandfather and his abusive-step siblings would always say "Stop crying, Nobody wants to deal with a crybaby mistake like you." "If you weren't so weak, then maybe your father wouldn't be gone." "You're a man, so act like one instead of a so-called crybaby mistake".
-Vlad never told his step-father about the abuse he went through because he was afraid of dissapointing him and making him mad. (He also didn't trust him well due to his abuse with his grandfather and his two-step siblings.)
-He once had a crush on a guy he met in high school, but was rejected harshly for it.
-He considered on hanging himself in prison because he didn't want to deal with the pain anymore, but luckily, didn't go through with it.
-He's afraid of losing Jordan because he was the only one that made him feel valid, despite his insecurities. But he also has fears that if he told Jordan on what he went through, he would leave him. (Since he knew that Jordan sees him as his big strong, gambling king and if he knew that his king was actually "Weak", He would leave him.)
-The reason Vlad didn't sucessfully commit suicide is because he doesn't want Jordan, His mom and his baby siblings to worry about him. (It's also because he didn't want to disrupt his mom's marriage with his step-dad either.)
-After a while, He decided to tell Jordan about his self-harm problem along with his abusive situation with Antonio, Ember and Jackson. Once he did, Jordan hugged him and comforted him, letting him cry until he fell asleep. (And he decided to help him get therapy.)
