| VICINITY |FINALLY! The time had finally arrived.
There were booths in the front of the Main Building, at meron namang mga banderitas na nakakabit sa third floor nito pababa sa bakod ng campus, making the front of the Main Building the center of attraction.
It was an argument na ipinaglaban ng student council sa mga nakatataas nitong nakaraang linggo dahil it was insisted na magsuot kami ng uniform kahit pa man may event.
Even Rainier was giving us a questioning look as if kasalanan na hindi kami nakasuot ng tulad sa kanila.
Aba, couldn't she just ignore us?
Cameron and Rainier remained silent at parang walang balak makisali sa usapan namin. If I remember it right ay parang mag-iisang linggo na rin.
It was one of a hell ride for us nitong mga nakaraang araw. I was glad that Michaela didn't join the trend at kinakausap niya pa rin kami nang normal, pero I could still feel na medyo awkward siya minsan kay Cameron. I assumed na ayaw lang palalain ni Michaela ang sitwasyon kaya ginagawa niya ang kaya niya to keep our bond intact lalo't nalalapit na ang competition namin.
Speaking of it, the competition was scheduled to be held on the school fest's last day. Dahil doon, magkakaroon pa kami- ang TEAM VMRC as how Cameron called our team- ng extrang time to prepare for the competition. Kung tutuusin naman ay ready na kami; we've already studied and memorized everything that we should and could, kaya naman confident ako na hindi kami mapapahiya, kung hindi man kami ang manalo- which I couldn't afford to unfold.
We could lose, if I may mention. Gaano man kasi kami ka-ready, the beef within our group could be a hole in our performance in the competition, and that's enough to say na technically ay hindi pa kami handa. Victory was still an inch or two away from our grasp.
