Chapter 7

Rayas POV
We left Dalmally to head to our next destination, the Necropolis to find out if the rumors are about king the sin of sloth is dead, to be honest he doesn't strike me as the kind of person who would stand by and do nothing. I was making breakfast for myself while Meliodas and Elizabeth were eating his cooking, I never wanna put that taste in my mouth again. I was making toast with eggs, it was pretty simple. I sat down at the table and started to eat, it was really good.
Elizabeth- "Um Hawk? Could you not tie sir Meliodas really tight, sleeping might not be so easy for him."
Hawk- "That beats the whole purpose if he's able to move! Sleeping in the same room as you he's gonna have more hands on you than an octopus. Precautions must be taken."
Elizabeth- "But I..."
Meliodas- *muffled* "If you end up looking at it as a foreplay it's not that bad at all."
Elizabeth- "What did you say?"
Rayas- "Swallow your food man."
Meliodas- "Who knows maybe tonight you might get to tie me up instead of Hawk."
Hawk- "You sleaze bag."
Diane woke up and she looked pretty hungry.
Diane- "Hey did I hear that somebody was going to tie up Hawk?"
Hawk- "Nobody porking my roast!"
As soon as he said that Ban showed up and sat at the bar stool.
Ban- "I could sure use a drink Captain."
Rayas- "A little early don't you think?"
Elizabeth- "Would you like to have some breakfast with us?"
Ban- "You don't expect to eat the Captain's awful cooking do ya?
Meliodas- "Heh. If you don't like it then make it yourself."
Ban- "Don't mind if I do."
As soon as Ban opened the bottle, it sprayed on his face, I began to laugh at it.
*timeskip*
Meliodas took out a map and pointed to the Necropolis.
Meliodas- "Alright guys time to head to the Necropolis. We'll start looking for king there."
Ban- "Hold on, didn't you say fatty was under 6 feet these days?"
Rayas- "Ban, it's the only lead we got on him, it might be worth checking out."
Elizabeth- "The city of the dead sounds scary, what kind of place is it?"
Meliodas- "I have no idea, only thing I know about it is that it exists."
Hawk- "Look guys if you ask me it's probably haunted with a spooky name like that. Bet it's gloomy and dark all the time with rows and rows of creepy gravestones everywhere."
Elizabeth sounded scared.
Diane- "There won't be any bugs right?"
Hawk- "What'll if happen if we do find king? Do you really think he's still going to be alive?!"
Rayas- "Can you stop you're scaring the girls."
Meliodas- "Some ghosts Huh?"
*timeskip*
We made to the Necropolis and to be honest it looks dead.
Meliodas- "We're here!"
Diane- "So this is the Necropolis? It's not what I expected."
Rayas- "Well Hawk, no gravestones in sight."
Hawk- "How did rundown village come up with a name like that anyway?"
Meliodas- "Rumor has it that this should be the closest space to it. Let's see if we can get some intel on king and find out where to go from here. And we're all gonna need to make a little food money right away soooo, let's get the tavern up and running!"
Ban- "Well what do you know guess the Captain really does sell the drinks."
Diane- "When he's working he's so cute. OMG!"
Meliodas- "And I'm gonna put all you guys to work too, bring in some customers jumbo billboard girl."
Diane- "Are you sure!?"
Diane sounded so happy.
Meliodas- "You start grilling up some tasty grub, jailbird cook."
Ban- "Oh who me?"
Hawk- "Are you sure you want this guy handling our food?"
Meliodas- "Trust me, I know it's hard to believe but this guy is a real wiz in the kitchen."
Ban- "Well I don't know about that."
Meliodas- "Alright let's get to work put your backs into it you guys."
Elizabeth- "Please Sir Meliodas, I want a job my injuries don't bother me anymore."
Meliodas- "Just don't push too hard."
Elizabeth- "You got it."
Rayas- "What can I do?"
Meliodas- "You can clean the tables, make em sparkly, got it?"
Rayas- "Okay, they'll be sparkling in no time."
Diane picks up Meliodas and thanks him by giving him face rubs.
Diane- "Oh Captain you made the billboard girls I'm so happy. And don't worry, I won't let you down, I promise I won't.
Rayas- "Anyways what about Ban Meliodas?"
Meliodas- "What about him?"
I point to where he was standing and he looked to see he's not there.
Meliodas- "Rayas stay and mind the tavern, everyone else lets go find ban."
Rayas- "Ok."
The others went to look for Ban and I was in the tavern cleaning the tables. Then out nowhere my head started to hurt again and in a flash there were more of my memories appearing.
*Flashback*
Rayas- "Brother why are you doing this? I haven't done anything wrong."
The person who apperantly is my brother was standing there with his fist closed and smiled menacingly.
???- "You are a disgrace born with nothing you will only slow people down. I'm throwing you away with the trash."
He kicked me and I rolled down into the pit.
It stopped and I was back at the tavern. I was sweating like crazy and Meliodas and the others came back with Ban and two kids. Elizabeth saw me and rushed over.
Elizabeth- "Sir Rayas are you okay? You're sweating."
Rayas- "I'm fine, all the tables are clean Meliodas."
The tables started sparkling and Meliodas was impressed.
*timeskip*
Ban cooked up some food for kids and Hawk was drooling by how good it looked.
Ban- "Okay everybody dig in."
Elizabeth and Rayas- "That smells amazing."
Meliodas- "Yep."
Boy- "It's free but we really don't-"
Ban- "If you won't eat it I'm just gonna give it all to the pig."
Hawk jumped a little because he was happy.
Kids- "We're eating."
Then Hawk fell down. The kids started to eat and they were enjoying it.
Girl- "It's wonderful."
Boy- "It's the best I ever had thank you so much."
Ban- "It's time for some give and take."
Ban sat down and asks them a question.
Ban- "Alright now tell me everything you know about this necropolis place."
Meliodas- "What are you doing Ban? Finding king was our mission, so there's no reason to go over there right?"
Ban- "No way in hell that little punk is king."
Meliodas- "Trust me that's really him."
Ban- "Well I think it's a fake."
Meliodas- "Nope it's really him."
Ban- "He's a Fake!"
Rayas- "You guys found king?"
Meliodas- "Yep. We found him when we were looking for Ban."
Boy- "So you guys are trying to get into the Necropolis too? That boy asked us questions about it a lot. And he told me that he had to find it no matter what."
Meliodas- "King said that Huh?"
Boy- "He told us he'd been looking a long time too."
Hawk- "So it's actually here in this rundown place?"
Boy- "No, but it's not far away."
Diane- "Then where is it exactly?"
Boy- "The entrance to the Necropolis can be found here in town but it's not a place you can reach just because you want to."
Everyone looked so confused as to what he means but I seem to understand it.
Ban- "Look man riddles aren't really my thing."
Rayas- "So basically there's something that you have to do in order to unlock the passageway to get to the Necropolis right?"
Girl- "If you share your precious memories with the dead, they will lead you where you want to go, the man who lives next door to us used to say that all the time. I'm sorry but that's all I know."
Ban pats her head and says thanks.
Elizabeth- "What reason could it be that Sir king wants to get into the Necropolis now?"
Meliodas- "I know that's a really good question, guess we'll have the answer when we get there."
Rayas- "Guess so."
*timeskip*
We went to the village to look for more clues of the Necropolis.
Hawk- "Even if this Necropolis place does exist, there's no way to get to the other side."
Meliodas- " l guess all we have to do is die right?"
Hawk- "You big idiot."
Elizabeth- "Share your memories that are precious with the dead Huh? If I could when my mother died I was too young to remember, I'd love to meet her."
Hawk- "That wills you up then."
Elizabeth- "I guess you're right. I don't have any shared memories."
I was lost in my mind thinking about that memory flash I had earlier, my brother said I was too weak, maybe it was true about what he said. I went to talk with Meliodas about me staying at the tavern but then Diane started laughing.
Diane- "Ban that is so not your style."
Ban- "Huh? What the hell is this?"
From where he was there were a bunch of flowers.
Diane- "Elizabeth come here look at all these flowers."
Elizabeth- "Oh my what kind are they?"
Rayas- "Where did they come from?"
Hawk- "Who cares about a bunch of stupid flowers. You can eat these things all you want but they'll never fill you up."
Hawk blew on one of the flower and all of a sudden all the flower petals were around us.
Kid- "Hey you guys be careful."
Then a tornado started to form around us. When it stopped we were in another place. It was full of weird looking crystals and they sky was green.
Rayas- "Is this the Necropolis?"
Elizabeth-"Do you think it was my wish to meet my mother that opened it up and carried us here?"
Hawk- "Maybe it was my long profing for scraps that I missed in my life."
Meliodas- "My mind was totally blank."
Diane- "Mine too."
While we were trying to figure out how we got here Ban started running somewhere.
Hawk- "Ban!"
???- "Hold it!"
We heard a shout and saw a boy going after Ban.
Diane- "King? Captain what are we supposed to do?"
Meliodas- " I guess we'll run after them for now."
We started going after ban and king
