Chapter 8

While I was walking behind the others I accidentally hit one of the crystals and it started to glow, it looked like it was going to explode. I ran away from it and it exploded.
The others turned around to me.
Meliodas- "Rayas what happened?"
Rayas- "I accidentally hit one the crystals and it exploded. I guess I shouldn't touch them."
When I stopped talking, my suspicions sensed started to kick in, I started looking around.
Diane- "What's wrong?"
Rayas- "I don't know why, but I got this weird feeling that we ain't alone."
Meliodas- "Hm? Yeah you're right."
Elizabeth- Huh? I don't see anyone around here but us."
Hawk- "Yeah no ghost have appeared to try and scare us or anything."
Elizabeth-"Actually I'd be terrified if one had."
Hawk and Elizabeth started having scared expressions.
Hawk- "There's obviously no point in hanging around here. Why don't we go look for those two now, what do you say?"
Elizabeth- "Sounds good to me."
We walked for a while but Ban or King was nowhere in sight. I look to the front and saw a woman standing there.
Rayas- "Guys?"
They looked my way and saw her too.
Diane- "Who's that?"
???- "Hello Meliodas the dragon sin, how do you do Diane the serpent sin. My name is Guilla a holy knight."
Hawk- "How did you get here?"
Guilla- "Simple, by dying."
Hawk- "Uh did she say she got here by dying?"
Meliodas- "She sure did."
Hawk- "Then that means this lady's bad news isn't she?"
Meliodas- "Fraid so, really bad news."
The holy knight Guilla drew her sword out and it caused a shockwave to send Elizabeth and Hawk back but me and the others stood there. I'm surprised I'm still standing.
Meliodas- "Hawk take Elizabeth and get as far away from here as possible."
Hawk- "Will do! Hey Elizabeth piggyback."
Elizabeth- "Alright."
Elizabeth and Hawk got away but I'm still with Meliodas and Diane. Why?
Rayas- "Hey Meliodas, do I have to go too? I can't fight like you guys."
Meliodas- "You said those crystals explode when you touched them right? What would happen if you're right next to them? I'm keeping you at a distance from those two. Now.... Go!"
I went to run but Guilla wouldn't let that happen.
Guilla- "I can't let you get away."
She shot a fireball at me, I jumped to dodge it, it flew right by but I fell in a pit.
Diane- "Rayas! Are you okay?"
Rayas- "I'm fine!"
I looked down and saw crystals glowing, seems like I fell in a pit of explosions. I tried to get out of the pit in time before they exploded.
Rayas- "Now I'm not fine. But I gotta keep moving."
I got away from the fight and headed somewhere safe away from the crystals. I ran until I found King standing there talking to stars?
Rayas- "Hey are you King?"
He looked at me and nodded.
King- "Who- who are you?"
???- "He's Rayas, Rayas Izunia, a pure hearted demon."
Rayas and King- "Huh?"
Rayas- "Who said that?"
???- "Over here, you see me as stars."
I looked over and where the stars were, there was a girl in a white dress. It sounded like she knew me.
???- "I am Elaine, King's sister. As to how I know you, you were in one of my dreams. It was about you saving Britannia and saving all of the races."
Rayas- "You're talking weird. There's no way I did that."
Elaine- "You mean you don't remember?"
King- "What are you saying Elaine, there's no way a demon could do that they're savages, monsters."
Elaine- "Maybe from 3,000 years ago the demon race were monsters, but him he wasn't, he wanted peace for everyone."
Rayas- "If that is true then why can't I remember that, it must have really important in my life if I succeeded."
Elaine looked down.
Elaine- "I'm sorry but that's all I know. King."
King looked at her.
Elaine- "Please protect Ban and for now protect Rayas until he remembers."
King wouldn't believe the story but to have a promise is something he can do because he's the brother of Elaine. Elizabeth and Hawk arrived and tried to pick up a spear which I'd assume it's kings weapon. They thought they'd lift it but it was king who picked it up. King, Elizabeth and Hawk went to help Meliodas and the others against the holy knight. But I stayed behind.
Elaine- "Are you not going?"
Rayas- "Why? I'm just gonna get in the way again. I'm not a fighter."
Elaine- "I understand what you're feeling, not knowing who you are, not remembering your past, but the one things you should know is that you're a hero. You can save them, you just need to trust in yourself more than you trust them."
I thought about it for a while, I've gotten promises to keep, I stood up to holy knights, I ended up protecting Meliodas and Elizabeth. There were so many things I've done that I haven't realized. I got up to my feet and started heading towards the others.
I had to come up with a plan, to not get in the way and hurt the others with explosions of the crystals. I had to break a crystal, throw it behind her in hopes that the explosion will get her. Time for a little payback for throwing me in the pit. I made my way to the others only to find King fighting Guilla by Himself and the others were watching, but Elizabeth and Hawk weren't there I guess they must be catching up. I went behind and hit a hit a crystal, it shattered behind Guilla now all I had to do was get her next to it.
Meliodas Pov
King managed to defeat the holy knight single handed, but she got out of the debris and try to attack him.
Guilla- "At a range as close as this, even the power of the spirit spirit chastifol can't save you from me!"
I was going to use full counter but all of a sudden a rock flew by me, it hit her in the face. I turned around and saw Rayas standing there. I smiled because he was okay.
Rayas- "You know something Guilla, whenever I touch these crystals they seem to explode like your magic."
Guilla looked up at Rayas with an angry face.
Guilla- "Yeah, so what?!"
Rayas- "You should watch where you step."
I looked and saw that she was standing under tiny glowing crystals.
Guilla- *thoughts* "Damn you Rayas!"
All of the crystals exploded where Guilla was. I'm surprised, Rayas actually defeated a holy knight.
Rayas POV
I think I got her, I don't see the body.
Elaine- "The force of that blast must've sent her back to the living world. You all came here flesh and blood but it seems she seems to be  here in spirit only."
So Guilla wasn't lying when she said she died.
Hawk screamed and turned around to see that his ears are glowing.
Hawk- "My ears are disappearing!"
Elizabeth- "Oh no Hawk. Wait now the same thing is happening to me. What's going on?"
Meliodas went and groped Elizabeth's boobs to see if it'll help.
Meliodas- "Tell me is it better if I do this?"
Diane- "Hey! You get your hands off her!"
Diane started glowing too the same as Hawk and Elizabeth. I looked down at myself and that it was happening to me too.
???- "The necropolis senses that you don't belong here. So now it's beginning to push everyone out."
No one POV
Everyone turns around and saw the two kids from before.
Boy- "That was great you saw who'd you hoped for."
Ban- "What are the two of you doing here?"
King- "Hold it. Do you mean you were from here the whole time?"
Girl- "The cooking you made for us was really yummy. Thank you so much."
Elaine- "Glad I got to see you, Ban."
Ban- "Later, Elaine."
King looked down disappointed at himself not looking at his sister.
Elaine- "Thank you brother for protecting him."
King- "Elaine!"
He turned to look at her but they were back in the real world.
Meliodas- "It looks like we're back in our own world again."
Diane- "That place totally weirded me out."
Elizabeth- *gasp*"Look it's."
They turned and saw Guilla there with her hand piercing her chest.
Meliodas- "I see. She reached the Necropolis by putting herself in a state of near death."
Hawk- "Doesn't that mean she's gonna be waking up very soon?"
Elizabeth- "Then we better get away from here."
Ban- "I'd say we kill while the killing's good."
King- "You barbarian, I'll petrify her."
Meliodas- "Take it easy, just let me handle it you guys."
Rayas starts walking back to the tavern, Elizabeth looked at him and saw that his eyes were shallow, she grew concerned for him so she went with him. The other soon joined and left the Necropolis.
*Timeskip*
No one POV
???- "Awaken. Awaken now my apprentice."
Guilla woke and saw that she was tied up to a tree. She was furious that she lost to a mere boy who couldn't fight. Then a mysterious knight was in front of her.
Guilla- "Wh- what, Sir Helbram."
Helbram- "I see that you failed Guilla. You are not ready to engage the seven deadly sins. Hmm?! What is that on your face?!"
Helbram looked and saw that Guilla was drawn in the face it looked funny.
Helbram- "Nevermind. It's not half bad actually."
Guilla- "What?"
*Timeskip*
The group were relaxing at a nearby lake while Rayas was inside the tavern writing in his diary.
Rayas- *In diary* "Elaine said I was a hero who wanted peace for all the races of Britannia, but I can't remember that. Also, I had a memory of what it seems to me that my brother was pushing me to the pits of the forgotten. Things have gone crazy and I feel like it'll get worse with me around. So the next time I'll stay here so Meliodas and the others won't have to worry."
He closes the diary and puts it in a shelf. All sudden he hears water l, he looks out the window and sees king manipulating it.
Knowing what he has to do from here on in, he goes to sleep.
While Rayas went to sleep, the two girls were looking at him worried about him.
Diane POV
There's no doubt about it, these feelings of mine are growing stronger when Rayas is around, I really do love him.
Elizabeth POV
Ever since Sir Rayas showed up my heart started pounding like crazy, it was the same thing that happened with Sir Meliodas but this is even greater than that, I love him.
Diane and Elizabeth- *thoughts* "I'll do everything I can to help him."
