Chapter 12

At the Boar Hat tavern Hawk was stretching out.
Hawk- "This morning air feels so amazing against my meaty backside. Well after that battle the other day I better start training to get in shape."
*timeskip*
As Hawk was coming back to the tavern, he and saw the princess standing by the edge of the cliff.
Elizabeth- "Rest now Veronica and be at peace. I promise things will be different, I'll bring back the days happiness echoed throughout the land. Just like it used to be. I'd give my life for it."
Diane- "Things will work out. I know we'll be able to take back the kingdom. After all the Captain is gonna be by your side and all your comrades too."
Elizabeth- "My comrades?"
Diane- "Mhm because you're one of us now Elizabeth."
Elizabeth smiles and turns back to the cliff. Out of curiosity and worry Diane decided to ask a question about Rayas.
Diane- "Elizabeth, do you like Rayas?"
Elizabeth jumps a little and turns to her blushing.
Elizabeth- "W-What! What are you.."
Diane- "I know I shouldn't be saying this but back at the tavern, I saw you with him."
Elizabeth- "You saw me... oh no are you going to.."
Diane- "I just wanna know, do you have feelings for him?"
Elizabeth looks down smiling a little.
Elizabeth- "My heart beats faster and stronger whenever he's around but now I just feel hurt, because he's not here anymore, I miss him."
Diane- "Well you're not the only one everyone misses him but also, I developed feelings for him too."
Elizabeth- "Diane.."
Diane- "I know he'll come back to us, and when he does, we can both tell him."
Elizabeth- "Wait you want us to share him?"
Diane nods in approve. The girls made a promise that they're going to keep once they see Rayas again.
*Timeskip*
Ban was sparring with King in the forest dodging his attacks, he then kicked one of the blades to king and king stopped it. Aggravated Ban asked king...
Ban- "You think I can't handle it King? Now take this seriously like you're trying to kill me."
King- "Now why exactly should I be trying to do that?"
Ban- "I wanna get better fast gotta crush the holy knights and take back the kingdom as quick as we can!"
Ban got behind King grabbed his head and threw him towards the ground. King landed in time.
King- "Take back the kingdom Huh? Never thought I hear you say something like that. I always figured that you never cared about anybody but yourself."
Ban- "And weren't you kind of like the same way too?"
King- "I suppose so, but in my case I have a special objective which is to help Diane out."
Ban- "I have one of those too. Save the kingdom then take the trumpet of cernunnos. Seems like a pretty good reward to me."
King- "Huh? You want the trumpet of cernunnos? That's a ritual device used to communicate with the goddesses. I don't get it, why would you..*gasp* wait."
Ban- "Yeah. I'll call on em and have em bring back Elaine!"
King- "Ban.."
Ban- "So keep it coming bring it!"
Ban got into his stance again.
King- "Darn I guess I have to accept him now. It's time right Elaine?"
King looks back at Ban and he looked angrier than before about something else. King took note of of that and realized why.
King- "You're worried about the Captain and Rayas aren't you? I thought so, deep down I feel the same way. I saw how they looked in their own moments it was like.."
Ban- "Go ahead! Say it! Just one more word and I'll knock your teeth out!"
Ban grabbed king by his shirt and looked at him angry.
King- "But you saw it too don't you?"
Ban- "There's no way, those two aren't a monster like that one! Something like that can't be true."
Ban let go of king and turned around. He was still pissed off.
Ban- "Ever since the day I was born people steered clear away from me, it felt like my life had no meaning but both of them didn't care about my past. The only three people like that in this whole world are him, Rayas and Elaine."
*timeskip*
Down by a little pond was Meliodas sitting in a rock reviewing what has happened up til now.
Meliodas- *thoughts* "It's hard to believe that the holy knights gotten that powerful. I guess that means I can't pull my punches from here on in." "Cool. Guess I'll have to give up on that."
Meliodas stood up broke a piece of a tree branch and used like a sword, he swung down and broke the mountain in half. He walked in between the broken mountain to his friends who were waiting for him while he saying the Britannia quote.
Meliodas- "When shooting stars filled the night sky in a form of crosses Britannia will face their most desperate hour. This is a trial preordained since ancient times and it will herald the beginning of the holy war between the guiding hand of light and the bloodline of the darkness. I promise you for the sake of the person who always fought at my side, this war has raging on for 3000 years, but I'll end it once and for all."
Rayas POV
After I saw the destruction of the village who found me and took care of me for a little while and the people I knew died, I had to focus on my revenge for the two people who killed countless of innocents just to find me. That's what master Ohma told me. He took me to a little room to train and regain my powers and abilities. I was able to regain most of my fight style and as for my power he said that it was incredible as how much I was able to produce it should be enough to go up against them, but before that he wanted to teach me something.
Master Ohma- "I truly am impressed Rayas, you have gained enough strength to challenge both of them, so for that reason, I want to teach you one of my powerful techniques I haven't taught you. It's called hatsuken."
Rayas- "Hatsuken?"
Master Ohma- "It is a forbidden technique that only a few could master but I believe that you are ready. If you can master your abilities at this rate then I believe you can master this too. Now shall we get started?"
Rayas- "Yes master."
He began to explain more about the hatsuken and how to use it right. It is a power multiplier that can increase my strength my speed and my senses and all other ablities too for a while because it strain my body if I keep it for too long.
*timeskip*
After a day of learning and training my body a bit more, it was time to perform hatsuken. Master Ohma was watching me. I got into my stance and then I chanted out.
Rayas- "Hatsuken!"
The mark on my forehead appeared and my eyes turned into a dark demonic color and the aura around me was glowing purple. Master Ohma was astonished and walked up to me.
Master Ohma- "Truly incredible Rayas. This is hastsuken. How do you feel?"
Rayas- "I feel good, but it's hurts a little bit."
Master Ohma- "That is what hatsuken is like. Revert back to normal."
I did what he said and turn off hatsuken. He was going to say something but was gladly interrupted by an earthquake or so it was.
Rayas- "What was that?"
Master Ohma- "It seems they're on the move."
Then Kiryu ran through the door panting.
Kiryu- "Master, it's Ravus and Gorgon they're in liones!"
Master Ohma- "Well then I guess it's time Rayas."
Rayas- "To fight them?"
Master Ohma- "Yes."
Rayas- "Yeah I'm ready."
Master Ohma- "Ok, Kiryu are his clothes ready?"
Kiryu- "Yes master."
Master Ohma- "Bring them."
*timeskip*
No one POV
Kiryu brought Rayas's clothes and he put them on. It was a black outfit with white lines. Black and white boots, a black fighting pants, a sleeveless black hoodie, and a glove for the left hand and a black elbow brace for the right elbow.
Rayas- "Thanks Kiryu I'm sorry for kicking you like that."
Kiryu- "It should be me who should be apologizing for the way I acted it's just..."
Rayas- "What?"
Kiryu- "It's because of those two I lost my family. I couldn't cope with that well, so I lashed when I saw you because you looked exactly like him."
Rayas- "Like who?"
Kiryu- "Like Ravus. You both have the same face."
Rayas looked a little shocked by what he said. But out of curiosity Rayas wanted to ask Kiryu if there were any survivors of the village but as soon as he was about to ask master Ohma came in.
Master Ohma- "Are you finished?"
Rayas- "Yes."
He walked outside with Master Ohma and Kiryu. Rayas was getting ready to head to liones.
Master Ohma- "You know how to use your sensing technique? It's very important if you want to know where you are going."
Rayas- "Yeah. I'm heading to liones which is that way. There are huge powers over there."
Master Ohma- "Good. Now Rayas, be careful with how you use Hatsuken from here on out, only use when you need to. Understand?"
Rayas- "Yes master Ohma, thanks."
Rayas floated up and flew towards liones where he will have the fight of his life to save Britannia.
