Chapter 10

Meliodas POV
Rayas got out of the medallion and looked different, his power is insane. I felt extreme pain in my chest and the other women had that too.
Jericho- "H-Hot my insides are burning."
Rayas was standing there looking at Guilla with the intent of killing her.
Guilla- "How did he escape from the amber? Huh? AAAAAAAAAHHH!"
Rayas sliced her hand off effortlessly.
Guilla- "How dare you!"
Rayas looked to the ground to where my sword was and picked it up. He slashed downwards knocking down Jericho and Guilla. I was scared, I've never seen him like this.
No one POV
Jericho ran to help her. She took the green orb out of Guilla's gauntlet and threw it on the ground, it broke and it created a green field around them.
Jericho- "Super Recovery spell!"
It was gone and Guilla hand which Rayas cut off was back on her.
Guilla- "I owe you one."
Jericho- "This wasn't the plan. We got the wrong person sealed,but I thought once that happened, he wouldn't get out. It should be impossible to break free of the goddess amber."
Guilla- "It's not my area, it's almost as if..."
Ban- "This is some seriously bad news Jerigirl."
Ban appeared behind them.
Jericho- "The names Jericho."
Ban- "Oh sorry I went on ahead and healed myself. Oh nice spellbeats you guys got some fun little toys."
Ban had four orbs in between each finger which he took from Guilla's gauntlet.
Guilla- "Hold on when did you-"
Ban- "Huh, hey watch out!"
Rayas started dashing towards the three of them. Ban charged to try and stop him.
Ban- "Rayas is it still really you in the-"
Rayas sliced his body in half and Ban was shocked. The force was so strong it created dust. Elizabeth was in disbelief as to what has happened to Rayas, Meliodas and Hawk soon joined her.
Elizabeth- "What in the world is going on here?"
Hawk- "Elizabeth are you feeling okay?"
Elizabeth- "I'm fine Hawk, how is Sir Rayas doing do you have any idea?"
Meliodas- "It's hard to believe but it seems his rage took over him."
Elizabeth- "Rage?"
Meliodas- "Rage of losing everyone he cares about."
Rayas landed next to them, he started approaching them growling. He got close to Elizabeth's face and looked around to Meliodas and Hawk. He backed off and he used his power to create wings. He jumped and flew off towards where King was.
Helbram- "Hmm what this? I thought he was sealed away in the goddess amber."
King readied his spear to attack him.
Helbram- "Stop your futile efforts. This is no longer the time or place to be fighting you."
King- "How do you figure?"
Helbram- "Look there."
King looked up and saw Rayas flying towards them. He landed, creating a force that knocked King away.
Helbram POV
I'm surprised that this boy has managed to escaped the goddess amber, and he certainly looks different like a dragon.
Helbram- "Judging by your appearance I see that you-"
He went for a punch and I blocked it. He certainly was powerful, even stronger than the sins.
Helbram- "Hehehe, perhaps I reconsider my opinion of you."
He pulled me with his other hand and kicked me ended up sending me to the air. He jumped up and kicked me to the ground. He grabbed me by my armor and threw me across, dashed towards me landing a barrage of blows. I had to back off so I punched him sending him to the mountain. To best honest his fighting style is different than anyone I've faced before and it makes him dangerous. I flew to where I sent him and landed in front of him.
Helbram- "It seems you truly are different than the likes of Guilla and Jericho, it would also seem that your power is even greater than the Captain of the seven deadly sins. This is truly a miscalculation. It's my guess that you've been born with a gift. This magical power it's not like holy knights of the new generation as they were infused with demon blood later in life. It's no wonder the goddess amber couldn't contain you. Well no matter, I more interested to see the limits of your power a bit more if you don't mind."
No one POV
While the fight with half dragon and Helbram was happening, two people were watching the fight from a far.
???- "Master Ohma is that the guy you sensed before?"
Ohma- "Yes, it seems what Ardyn did was the truth after all, Rayas Izunia has been resurrected. Time to go back the village Kiryu."
Kiryu- "Yes Master Ohma."
They left back to the village. Rayas was still battling Helbram and he was losing. Helbram sent Rayas to the mountain. Rayas reverted back to normal weakened.
Helbram- "That was too close, you were a formidable opponent Rayas, but now you have no strength to fight back or stand up. And with that the seven deadly sins and Rayas had been vanquished. All that's left is to return with the sword, the princess and Meliodas and our mission will be complete."
Elizabeth and Hawk were watching and couldn't believe what they saw, they lost to the holy knights.
Elizabeth- "Oh no."
Hawk- "Damn it so I'm the only warrior left Huh?"
Meliodas- "Hawk get Elizabeth out of here."
Meliodas fell down unconscious, then Ban picked him and Elizabeth up and him and Hawk started running away from the town.
Helbram- "I see they are fleeing in shame, typical criminals but I'll never let them escape, I'll deal them once I deal with this so called hero of Britannia."
He was about to grab Rayas until Diane appeared behind him. She attacked him and he dodged it at the last second.
Helbram- "What's this? You're alive?! It's Diane the serpent sin."
Diane had her sacred treasure Gideon and she had returned to her normal size. Diane turned around and picked up Rayas. Rayas woke up and started crying, Diane was worried about him.
Diane- "It's okay Rayas, you're okay."
Rayas- "Nothing about this is okay, I'm a monster! I'm a monster and Meliodas knew all along!"
Rayas got up and jumped off Diane's hand to the mountain. Diane screamed his name out but he didn't listen, he ran away from them.
Helbram- "Um hello I hate to interrupt you but will you be mutable for an arrangement?"
Diane started crying a little.
Diane- "Was it you?"
Helbram- "If you tell Meliodas and the others to surrender including the princess to me I won't lay a hand on you or your-"
Diane- "Did you do this?"
She turned her head to look at him and her eyes were shallow. Helbram backed up a little.
Helbram- "Easy now here's today's Helbram horoscope you should refrain from any judgements your Gideon is no match with my link."
She then turned completely in rage.
Diane- "Answer the question! Did you hurt Rayas!"
Diane lifted her Gideon high and started striking Helbram. The grandmaster who was helping Helbram was concerned about the situation.
Grandmaster- "Withdraw now Helbram."
Helbram- "But I still have yet to retrieve Meliodas and the princess."
Grandmaster- "You must withdraw right away!"
Helbram- "Yes sir."
*timeskip*
Diane managed to make the holy knights flee and sins regrouped together but one person was missing.
Meliodas- "Diane where's Rayas?"
Diane looked down and she dropped to her knees and started crying.
Diane- "He left. Because of you."
Meliodas was confused at first but then he realized what she meant. Out of rage he punched a boulder.
Elizabeth- "Sir Meliodas what's wrong, you know what happened? Why did he..."
Meliodas- "Because... I know who he is and I didn't tell him."
Elizabeth got up and slapped Meliodas, he looked at her and she was in tears.
Elizabeth- "After all he's done for everyone you didn't help him at all. Why are you keeping things from him?! Now he's never gonna come back, I will never get to see him again."
She dropped to her knees and started crying too. Knowing now that their friend Rayas will not come back, and that the two girls will never confess to him, they made a decision to keep going. They left and there were two people in the forest talking.
???- "Hey Ravus. That huge power is gone and the earring isn't picking up anything anymore."
Ravus- "So what Ardyn did was the truth after all. The hero of Britannia is resurrected. Come on Gorgon, I thinks it's time to have a talk with the Grandmaster."
*timeskip*
Rayas kept running in tears knowing that Meliodas knew all along and that he couldn't stay anymore with them. He ran until he stumbled and fell. He fell in a destroyed village and fell unconscious.
