Tsubomi yawned and stretched as she saw the sunlight filtering through her room. She quickly changed out of her rose embroidered pajamas (a gift from Marry as a previous Christmas present) and put on her usual outfit of a hoodie and pants. She made her way down stairs to the kitchen where Seto and Marry were making chocolate chip pancakes, her favourite.
"No, no Marry, you put the chocolate chips in clusters like this," Seto explained, gently putting his hands over Marry's to guide her.
"I-I t-think I got this," Marry said, blushing.
Tsubomi watched the display with envy. Would Shuuya ever place his hand on her's? She quickly shrugged this thought off. "Well, Kido, I couldn't just leave a damsel in distress," Shuuya said with a cheeky grin.
"Who says I'm a damsel in distress, you annoying pervert!" Tsubomi retorted, and gave him a light slap across the face, like usual.
"We should really clean this up, Marry-chan, before anyone cuts themselves on the broken glass," Seto said matter-of-factly, thinking of others like he usually did.
"I-I'm so sorry Seto-kun!" Marry exclaimed, crying.
"It's fine,Marry-chan, it's not a big matter though we'll have to replace the glasses next time we go shopping," Seto said, as he gave Marry a reassuring hug.
"Oh, Kido, Onii-chan said something about dropping by later with Ayano," Momo said.
"Tell Shintaro that will be fine. After all, we haven't seen him or Onee-chan in quite a while," Tsubomi sighed, wishing she could eat alone in her room with a very special someone...
