The outburst was based on frustration, not because she hadn't enjoyed the time spent with Shuuya. However, Tsubomi was beginning to really question herself and her feelings. If she blocked him out entirely, wouldn't it fix the problem?
"What's wrong with her?" Momo asked, puzzled.
"Kido gets in these moods sometimes, so it's best to leave her alone," Seto explained.
Shuuya fidgeted nervously in his chair, wondering what he had done to tick her off.
"Kano, you look odd. Did you have too many sweets?" Ayano asked, concerned.
"No,no , I'm fine Onee-chan!" He gave her a false grin.
Ayano stood up suddenly and said,
"I need to talk to Shuuya alone," she grabbed his wrist.
"What's gotten into you?" Shuuya asked, trying to get his wrist out of her iron grip.
"Don't pretend like I can't tell what's going on between you and Kido, my power is to covey the memories and thoughts of others, right?" She glared at him, demanding an answer.
"Nothing's wrong. Stop snooping in our heads,ok? We have a right to keep our thoughts and memories our own," he retorted angrily.
Ayano's eyes widened. Kano never talked to her that way, even when they fought as kids.
"I was trying to help you, that's all," she said tartly as she turned on her heel and walked back to the kitchen.
Shuuya facepalmed himself. Ayano always got angry when she couldn't help another person, and he knew that's all she was trying to do.
"Hey, everyone! Marry will show you her garden in the backyard! It's really nice out," Shuuya called.
"Alright, everyone, this way," Seto led the way to the backyard.
