Tsubomi came out of the women's cabana in her swimsuit, to find Shuuya outside gawking at her exposed legs, thanks to her shorts.
"Seriously, you're so immature, letting your hormones getting the best of you," Tsubomi gave him a menacing glare.
"Ok,ok, it's just your legs-"he started to comment, but she cut him off by raising her first threateningly.
"Hey, Commander!"Momo ran to Tsubomi, wearing a colourful two piece with a short skirt.
"Hi,Momo," Tsubomi said.
"Guess who's here? Hibiya, Hiyori, Konoha, Onii-chan, and Ayano! Isn't this great?" Momo exclaimed in excitement.
Further down the beach, Marry and Seto were buying ice cream, while Hiyori and Hibiya splashed each other in the water. Ayano and Shintaro were reclining in the shade, while Konoha was collecting sea shells for his growing collection. It was the perfect day.
"Alright,everyone, it's time to eat," Tsubomi said, setting up the picnic lunch on a nearby table.
Everyone loved the cookies, especially Shuuya, much to Tsubomi's delight.
"You remembered these were my favourite!" Shuuya munched happily on the cookies.
"I just happened to make them, that's all," Tsubomi pulled her hood over her face so he couldn't see her blush.
Shuuya pushed back the hood suddenly, and said,
"You shouldn't hide your face like that, you're beautiful, you know."
He kissed her on the lips lightly, while she stood there, stunned.
"Well, I'm going to go play volleyball with the guys," Shuuya said casually,ending the tender moment.
Many hours later, Marry, Seto,Momo,Shuuya,and Tsubomi left the beach and came to the public bathhouse.
"See you guys later," Seto waved as he and Shuuya left the girls and headed toward the men's area.
"I've never been to a bathhouse before, though I've read about them,"Marry remarked, as they walked down to the changing area.
"First, you soap up, and then you rinse off before entering the actual bath," Momo explained, grabbing some towels for them to wear in the bath.
"This is definitely awkward," Tsubomi wished she could use her power to be invisible so she wouldn't have endure the stares from the other women.
"Relax, normal people do this all the time in Japan," Momo assured her.
"Well, we're not your everyday civilians," Tsubomi laughed.
Meanwhile,Seto and Shuuya were relaxing in the soothing water of the bath.
"I wonder how the girls are doing," Shuuya wondered aloud.
"You just want to see Kido with barely anything on," Seto teased.
"No,"Shuuya denied it, but he secretly (maybe?) did.
"You look pretty flushed, is the water too hot? There's cooler baths over in the corner," Seto said worriedly.
"I'm going to take a small stroll,"Shuuya got up and made sure his towel was tied firmly around his waist before he took a step forward.
"Ok,I don't think I can take much more soaking," Tsubomi wrapped a towel around herself and left the bath.
"Ok, suit yourself, Marry and I will hang out here," Momo said.
Tsubomi walked out into the hallway between the entrances to the women's and men's baths. She went to the nearest vending machine in hope of a soothing soft drink, but to her surprise, Shuuya was there! She wrapped her towel even tighter around herself, as she realized how exposed she really was in the flimsy towel.
" What are you looking at?!" She demanded, noticing him looking at her strange getup.
"Nothing," he quick averted his gaze, his face hot with embarrassment.
Shuuya really shouldn't walk around a public hallway in just a towel, Tsubomi thought. Then she realized, that she too, was not dressed the best either. Shame crept through her as she excused herself and went back into the women's area.
She sure looked hot in that towel, Shuuya thought to himself..
