Tomorrow is the open house and Owen just informed me that the hockey team will be helping set up, take down, and work the open house with me. Owen set up a playdate for the boys with Andrew and cooper. Lance and Carter brought a karaoke machine that has a way for me to play music through the speaker from my phone.

This morning  Liam and Spencer were excited when they woke up to a new sketch book and a new action figure. Spencer tried to get me to return his sketchbook so that we could save money. I hate that Spencer worries about money. Right now I'm at the grocery store getting food for the boys. I pull out the grocery list out of my back pocket and recite the list out loud.

Apples

Potatoes

Nuts

Rice

Chicken tenders

Tomato paste

Chips

Ground beef

Noodles

Bread

Water

It takes about thirty minutes to finish getting everything on the list. After checking out I run back to my car and call Owen to check and see if it's for sure that the boys will stay with Andrew and Cooper tomorrow. After the final ring, the phone goes to voicemail. It's storming pretty bad out and it's getting late. Spencer stayed at the house while Liam went to the humane society with Vivian to help her feed the animals.

It's almost time for the open house to begin. Thankfully the hockey players helped me with a lot of the heavy lifting. Mathew informed me that Owen was on his way to his family's house for the holidays. After setting up all the tables and drink stations, we set up the food and backing items. Within minutes the diner is full. Everyone is laughing and dancing, there are some looking at the jobs and applications but others are eating and hanging out. My phone rings and immediately answers.

"Hello?"

"Is this Miss Montgomery?"

"This is her, how may I help you?"

"Hello Miss Montgomery, I'm calling to brief you on the situation at hand. I understand that you've been trying to get full custody of your brothers Spencer and Liam, correct?"

"Yes, ma'am."

"In order to get full custody, you need to have a place with enough rooms for you and your brothers. There needs to be a steady pace of income. Do you think you could make that happen?"

"Of course, I've been setting aside money for quite some time. I think I can line up a place to stay."

"Okay, good. I will call you again in approximately three weeks."

And with that she hung up and I went back to the open house.
