lets go for a ride! (10k SPECIAL)

omg yall, ty for 10k reads im literally shitting myself. uh, that's it. Thanks. No smut cause I'm never making smut again. Who even told me to make smut anyways I'm crying (jk maybe idk) . i hope Johnnie and Jake never see this. 

Jake's pov

I looked at Johnnie with a big smile on my face. 

"..Are you planning something?" He finally broke the silence, probably because he felt creeped out because of me staring at him smiling for 5 minutes straight.

"Yes!" I jumped. 

He sat up from the couch. "So what's the plan then?"

I pulled out 2 tickets from my hand. "Do you want to go to the amusement park with me?" 

"..No." 

"What? Why!" 

"Because.. Im afraid of heights." 

I was silent for a few minutes before I bursted out laughing. 

"Are you serious?!" I said still laughing. "Shut up!" He pushed me. "it's not that funny."

"You're right.. I'm sorry. But we can just go on the tiny baby rides if you are that scared." 

"Fuck off." 

"No.. please? I have nobody else to go with!" I pleaded. 

He looked at me and rolled his eyes. "Fucking-- Fine." 

And that's how we ended up here, At the amusement park. 

"Where should we go first?" 

"We can go on the merry-go-round? after that, we can go on that loopy thing over there. We'll figure it out." I shrugged. 

Johnnie looked at what I was talking about, Id admit, It was pretty high but it couldn't be that bad. 

"..Can we not go on that one?"

"Johnnie, your pushing 30, suck it up." I rolled my eyes. 

I had to drag him along the merry-go-round first, it wasn't that bad, but we kinda looked stupid doing it. It didn't even last long too. 

"That was the most gayest ride of my life." He said to me. 

"Will the next ride be the straightest then?" I said as we waited in line for the second one. "We're about to go on it anyways. Just don't throw up." 

"Can't promise you that.." He said as we got on the seat. 

"Stop.. Johnnie, I swear to god throw up, and I'm throwing you off this ride." I said as I sat next to him.

I buckled up our seats and it was time for the ride to start. Why was I also getting nervous? They did the countdown and as soon as it reached one, it took off, It went so fast it gave me nausea. 

"Holy shit!" Johnnie screamed. "Jake?"

I almost passed out. "Jake wake the fuck up!" Johnnie yelled shaking me.

"What!" I yelled. 

"Are you good?" He said as we were rising up again. I looked down. We were so high. Why did I even beg Johnnie to go with me?

"Stop the ride!" I cried. 

"It's kinda too late for that." He laughed. Then we dropped. 

I screamed so loud that people from behind started looking back at me in confusion. But I don't care. I just wanted to get off the ride before i threw up. We started going in loops and I became dizzy. 

"This is actually kinda fun?!" Johnnie said to me. 

I turned to him and gave him the meanest look ever as i gripped the handlebars. Then the ride was over. I got off with wobbly legs. Johnnie helped me get off the ride. "Are you okay?"

"Shut the fuck up, Johnnie." 

"Do you want to go on something else?" 

"No!" 

"Do you... Wanna get something to eat then?" He said with a confused look.

"Yeah, can you carry me though?"

"Why? Aftershock?" I nodded my head. 

I got on his back and we made our way to the shop. I ordered a large iced lemonade and cheesy fries and Johnnie just got a diet coke, then I got off his back and we sat at the canteen. 

"Kinda ironic, I thought I was scared of heights, now it's you."

"Im not scared of heights! it was just too fast for me." 

"Sure.." 

"Im serious!" I said as I took a bite of my cheesy fries. 

"And I said sure." He laughed. "It's okay."

"Whatever.. Ill prove to you on the next ride that I'm not scared." I said, finishing up my cheesy fries.

"Okay lets do it right now then!"

"Okay!"

....

"So uh, sure looks like you're not scared." He said as we got off our 3rd ride. "And one of them wasn't even that fast."

"Shut up! at least I didn't throw up." 

"Do you wanna go on one last ride before we go?"

"No! no, no more rides. Im done."

"Fine. Im dragging you this time then." He said as he grabbed my wrist. I tried to push him off but he was so persistent. We went a few miles further until we stopped at the Ferris wheel and we went on.

"You're gonna scream this time?" 

"No." I rolled my eyes.

The sky soon turned to nighttime, we were all the way up. The lights were somewhat redeeming. 

"I searched the place up when we got there, it's good at night."

"I see. But isn't this supposed to be somewhat romantic?"

"I think so, maybe." 

we both looked at the window in silence. "But I think.."

I turned around to look at him. "Think what?"

"This wasn't bad, yknow, I thought i was scared of heights, now look at me."

"Nah dude, look at me. I freaked out on almost all of them." He laughed.

"You're right." 

then there was silence, I gave him a soft kiss. 

"Im glad I took you here," I whispered. 

"Im glad I agreed," he whispered back.
