Red and Chloe went off while Tyla, Bonnie and Azalea went their shared dorm room. Tyla was trying to work on some homework Principle Merlin gave them, Bonnie was reading her favorite book, The Great Gatsby, which she'd convinced her dad to get her, and Azalea was in her bed, staring at the white ceiling.Tyla groaned as she slammed her pencil down, "this is impossible! when am I ever going to use this back at home!" Azalea giggled to herself as she sat up to look at her distraught friend.
"you've got it, Ty, you're a smart girl," Bonnie waved off, her big brown eyes not leaving her book, Tyla sent her a playful glare before giving up entirely.
"I can just ask him tomorrow, my brain hurts," she said closing the textbook after putting the pages of work inside. She went over and plopped down on Azaleas bed, snuggling up to the blonde girl.
Bonnie groaned from her bed, untangling herself from the yellow sheets as a knock sounded from the door. She opened it and her eyes widened when she say Hook on the other side.
"is Princess here? I need to pull her for a little chat," he said peeking into the clean room, Azalea got out of bed practically rolling over Tyla, and making her way to the door, "hey,"
"hey," she mumbled, looking around the hallway for his friends, "what do you what?"
He grinned at her tone, "calm down, princess, I just want to talk, fancy a stroll?"
She furrowed her eyebrows, thinking it over, before putting up her finger to him and closing the door. Bonnie and Tyla had been listening in on their brief conversation.
"you've got to!" Tyla exclaimed, pulling out a basic pink outfit for Azalea to change into, one that wasn't a white tank and pink fluffy pj pants, "put this on!"
Azalea rolled her eyes with a smile while taking the outfit and changing into it quickly, it wasn't anything too fancy. A pink tight fit long sleeve that was cropped right under her bellybutton and matching pink flared leggings. She slipped on her tennis shoes and reopened the door.
Hook was waiting for her, resting on the wall. The duo walked in silence as they walked through the gardens, Azlea blushed a dark crimson when his normal hand brushed against hers.
"I have a question for you," he said, stopping to sit on the bench, azalea nodded for him to continue as she sat next to him, "I know you take this cooking class, have you heard of a book called the Sorcerers cookbook?"
"oh, yeah, I've never seen it but I know it's banned," she answered, picking at her chipped nail polish. Hook looked up at one of the tall walls of bush to see the other VK's urging him to do more. He sighed quietly as he grabbed her hand, making her look at him.
"so it would be in Merlin's office, right?"
"yeah, but you shouldn't go looking for it, that book is nothing but trouble," she shook her head before continuing, "it's not like you could even do anything with it, Merlin charmed it so it wouldn't fall into the wrong hands,"
He rose his eye brows at her, almost offended. She immediately went wide eyed, "not that I think you're a bad person or anything, you're just a villain so it wouldn't open to you,"
She mentally facepalmed as she stuttered, Hook only laughed, "it's fine, Azalea," she grinned at him, "thanks, by the way, for telling me,"
"of course! Was that all you needed to talk about?"
"I also wanted to tell you something else," he muttered, he looked nervous and avoided her eyes. This flabbergasted the blonde girl, he was normally overly confident and kind of had a big ego. He was showing a completely different side of him, "I know you have a crush on me,"
