WHAT A NICE DAY TO HAVE A CHAT WITH A LONG TIME friend back at the city, and being in a good mood was expected since it's Saturday. Matteo pushed the assignments aside and went with Marinette to buy her some supplies for their project, since they have a PT called 'Mini Movie'.

Something about it recalls more childhood memories when that word came out of their advisor's mouth. He wouldn't tell anyone about it though, not in a million years.

He was wearing a large sweater to hide his muscles (ofc he's  working out), baggy pants and a black mask covering his face, irritating the bluenette more than her choice of the colored feathers, which was placed on the shelf infront of them.

"You know, you need to stop wearing that, you'll get acne." It did not stop him from hitting her with his leg, his hands full of paper bags. "You don't get to control my life, mom."

Matteo instantly reassured her by rubbing circles on her back, soothing her tense shoulders just by thinking about the costumes that needed to do until the end of the month. Her headache vanished with a smile, no longer mad at everything, including him.

She turned around to give him a kiss on the cheek, and him quickly rubbing it away as he never knew she would give him one. "What was that for?"

The bluenette giggled, pinching his covered cheek as she spoke in a motherly voice. "Oh I know you love it young man. That's me being thankful." Seeing how dramatic he was getting, she scoffed as she stepped back with an annoyed look.

"You could've just warn me."

"Fine, next time."

"Who said there will be a next time?" God, he's so fun to talk to.

Moving on, they went to the register and payed for the items before walking through the sliding doors, laughing all the way until they saw two familiar people that they knew and shared hearts with, except for Matteo because he doesn't really know them that much.

He hid behind the bluenette when their voices reached to their ears, now walking towards her with a smile.

Something feels wrong about them, or just one of them. He felt a different aura when it comes to him, and seeing himself stand near Marinette must be a trigger to give him death glares. "Marinette! Didn't know you're here for the weekend."

She showed them the bags she has on her arms, and Adrien being the kindest and having a huge crush towards the bluenette, grabbed them from her arms as he received a charming thank you, well, to him ofcourse. "Actually, I'm with a friend right now."

Nino hummed, "Aaand where's this friend of yours?" Clearing her throat, she kicked something behind her just as a groan erupted to their ears, confused looks showing off of their faces.

Matteo emerged from her back, holding back a tear with the strained smile that he wore when they saw him. "Hi, I'm Marinette's friend." He awkwardly waved at the stiff boys, maybe they didn't expect him to appear at all.

Adrien seemed upset though, and his eyes tells him to back off. Mat might think his giving him a judgemental look, he's not entirely wrong.

He ignored his cold gaze and moved to his friend, who's shoulder's stiff and looked like he was not breathing, a sweat running down his cheek. The latter slowly moved his head down towards Marinette, his eyes never leaving at their presence. "Did I do something or did you tell them something about me?"

"I think it's because I kind of ditched them for our hangout the other day and talked to you."

Ah, that's why he's been feeling so submissive under the blond's green eyes, feeling something that was supposed to be for the cat hero.
