"MATTEO! YOUR SISTER'S HERE TO PICK YOU UP!"

Was Sabine told him before 3:00 pm in the afternoon. The said boy quickly grabbed his things, staying balanced against the stair railings, then stairs again that leads to the bakery downstairs.

The moment passed by like a quick breeze, now he's at home, just finished showering. Still in a daze, he watched the sunset from his window with a content sigh. He missed school, Friday school. Things must've been lit over there, just because he's absent everything happens unexpectedly.

Like, what is Jagged Stone doing at their school? Marinette took a picture of them in a group with the Rockstar on the center of the courtyard, performing a song that he also know.

Matteo groaned, fixing his glasses on his face before falling back to his bed. He stared at the ceiling, enjoying the quietness of his room. Then he hears snoring. Looking up to his side table, he saw Tikki sleeping on a small cushion, made by the bluenette.

He grabbed a pillow, hugging it as he stared at his curtained balcony door, as if waiting for something to happen. There's no akumatization since the overthinker that made him and Chat Noir go sleep deprived.

I wonder if that old man's planning something..

A figure appeared right before his eyes, his breathing stopped as he observed the person on the other side.

Now what the fuckity fuck.

Chat Noir. Standing in his balcony. Jaw. Wide. Open.

From the tip of his cat ears to his swishing belt tail, and that build was enough to know that the feline hero is here. Matteo couldn't believe it, he knew from those shadow outside the curtain was Chat Noir. What did he do to deserve this? Did he really saved the world or is the end of life will strike down any minute?

Slowly getting up, he scoops Tikki to hide her inside his side table drawer. Just a shirt and some pair of shorts, they're too comfortable to be changed. Looking himself in the mirror, he fixed his hair a bit to a more not-so-sexy way as small droplets of water fall on his towel. Taking his glasses off, yep he can't see shit. He puts it back on.

Meh.

He took a deep breath. This is meant to be a one last chance to look good in front of Chat Noir. In person. And at night. Just the two of them.

Alone.

The boy giggled in his own imagination, the feline tapped on the glass doors. "I hope you already noticed me, it's lonely out here." Oh he did noticed you alright. Matteo composed himself, almost strutting confidently until he opened the door. There he was, leaning on the railings with his back on his face.

The cold wind, the city lights, the mood while they talk, it really is the perfect time and place.

Clearing his throat, he smoothly slides beside him, also leaning on the railings. Now that it happened, shyness took over him. Putting his jaw on his palm while looking away, it's hard facing him without his super suit.

"So, what does the great Chat Noir need from me tonight?" He tried so hard to act natural. Everything felt cold all of the sudden. "I just, recognized you from the first day we met. I've already seen you the other day, and I forgot about it so I came by to say hi."

He's very clumsy today.

Matteo laughed quitely, so he can remember the people he saved. He turned to look at him, flinching when the blonde was already staring at him. The boy watched him tilt his head, pointing his finger on his eyes, or better yet, glasses. "You wear glasses?"
