DID HE HEARD HIM CORRECTLY? Yet he heard him loud and clear, Ladybug supposed to be a girl, not a man. Avren knew the impact he made when they first met, but it only made him worse, now that he was getting delusional.

"Hey blondie, are you in catnip right now--" His words were cut off by a sudden hug, slightly tearing up when his hold to him felt so gentle, like a loving embrace. Clawed hand behind his head as he leaned to his shoulder, arm around his torso as his nose took a smell of his neck.

Avren wanted to show his affection back, though the thought of how he called him earlier, he needed to snap him out of it, telling him he's not her and how he was different from how she act.

No wonder his heart was acting up, he was jealous. God, he didn't even know Chat Noir yet and here he was, sulking inside because of a slight problem.

He pushed him away when he was getting too touchy, trying to ignore his now burning face.

"Snap out of it Chat! We still need to defeat the villain and--" Then the blond held he hands tenderly, another crack being opened. "You don't have to! I can do this myself, I can't lose you again..!"

This is all Hawkmoth's doing, he hurts people more than enough. He can't bare seeing how his acting so vulnerable, so he looked away.

So the villain's ability is to make them see who they're inlove with, in someone who's a different person but still have some resemblance in them, that moth really knows what he's doing.

But seeing what's going on right now, both of them can't move on if Chat Noir was being overprotective. Avren needs to bring him back to reality, he has to.

An idea popped out inside his head, however, he's unsure if this was a good idea. Breathing out, he put on a small smile. "How about this, we're going to hangout after everything is fixed."

He knew he was seeing and hearing Ladybug on his vision, it was no problem to take advantage of it, not at all.

Chat seemed to bright a little, despite trying so hard to copy his reaction. "Really? You're not gonna back this one out, like you always do?"

Oh my God Ladybug, what were you thinking?

Everything turned out to be the opposite of what he was thinking about the heroes' relationship, did she not like him? Backing out on a date without telling the other is a shameful act when Chat's over heels for the lady, she could have told him the reason before rejecting his offer.

So does that mean they're just friends? And he has a chance after all? But what about Chat?

"Y-Yeah, sorry about that, again." A little white lie wouldn't hurt. The cat shook his head, already making the mood comfortable. "It's fine, I know how you're busy outside your superhero life and all."

And soon enough, both of the boys came back to the main deal. Defeat the villain, fix Chat Noir, and go to that date. Is he though? Maybe Chat would forget everything afterwards, but still, what an opportunity.

They both landed on the same roof, arriving at the park and inspected the red flower dress that the villain was wearing. "Her name is Queen Thorn, got compared by the boy she loves, who's inlove with another girl."

No shit.

"Then let's confront her and stop this once and for all!"

"Now we're talking!" Chat jumped to the edge as Avren falls gracefully beside him, making their entrance more audible to let her hear their arrival. She turned around from the flower in her hands, which was glowing purple that makes it expand by taking people's energy.
