STESS IS THE BEST WAY TO EXPLAIN WHAT HE'S GOING DOWN RIGHT NOW.

After that day with Adrien, Matteo became more awkward when he's around. He doesn't tell Marinette or Alya what's going on with him, he just can't handle talking to the blondie normally after that. Still, he should try being friends with him for real.

"You know you can tell me anything, right?" Marinette sat beside him with colored papers on hand, giving him a pair of scissors to atleast help decorating their classroom. "Nothing's wrong, noooo.." He sighs as he starts cutting a green paper, reminding him those emerald eyes of Adrien.

Switching with the bluenette, his mind went focused for a minute towards his cutting session. She gave him a look, glancing down at the paper. "Is it about Chat Noir again—?" Matteo covered her mouth, moving his head left to right if someone ever heard her.

The boy shushed her, obviously this was a personal problem for  him. He was cautious, but slowly removed his hand as he squinted his eyes to her way. Before sighing once again. "No, it's not him, it's someone else.."

And here she thought he doesn't like having new people in his life. "Who is it?" "Not telling you."

She scoffed, can't believe he would hide their identity from her. Though this was new, to think the Matteo would protect someone from getting jumped at—not that she would do that. Who would do such a thing? "Alright then. Tell me what's going on with this, human."

"You say it like it's a slur or something."

"Come on, you know I didn't mean it like that. I just don't want you to act like this because of it.." Marinette is such an angel, maybe a seraphim at this point. Darting his eyes around the room, he spotted Adrien helping a classmate putting on the shiny balloons that he remembered the heroes' color schemes.

Red, black, and green. "I saved Adrien from his fans yesterday as Avren. And we shared a wholesome moment, and saying we should hang out sometime." The blonde gave the box to Nino, who's in charge of the music and added decorations. The black haired boy turn to his best friend, listening closely to what he says.

"But he's friends with Avren, not Matteo. So it's hard to approach him without even properly introducing myself. Not after that 'incident'." Quoting the word, he seemed sincere about how he wants to know more about Adrien. Marinette saw herself in him sometimes, and this time it happens again.  "It's the first time I see you being serious like this, to be honest."

Matteo pouted dramatically. "And here I thought I was about to get an advice from you." The bluenette laughed half-heartedly, clapping his back. "And I will. First thing's first, make a small interaction with him. A fallen book, walking to class together, etcetera. Second.. "

She pulls out two fingers each of her hand, the making of Matteo and Adrien. "You'll say, 'What's your favorite color Adrien?' 'Oh, I like the green color!' Say something that's close to this, and you can have a comfortable silence with him around." Despite her imitation of their voices, he was there nodding and listening to everything she says.

"And lastly, see if you guys have something in common, and slowly rely to each other for projects or homeworks so you can spend some time together!"

"Okay Athena, I see you."

"You did not!" Marinette's laugh rung inside Adrien's ears, then grumbling when he hears the latter's duck quakiling. He did not just make a pun inside his head. "Uh dude, you're staring again." His head turned to Nino, crossing his arms with a look. "You should know Marinette is friends with everyone. And did you even made a move yet?"

He shook his head. "Not even a little. He just had to be with her 24/7. I can't even have an alone time with her!" The DJ was there to support his best friend, saying that she's busy all the time and Matteo hasn't been even with her often. But the blonde ignored his words, his mind drifting off to somewhere else.
