THE WHOLE WEEKEND, THE STUDENTS WORKED ALL DAY TO FINISH THEIR task before the event. It was now Monday, some of the people in the courtyard were trying their best to not sleep on the ground.

And because of this, the teachers find out how hard working they are. So, they held a meeting in the principal's office and discuss of what they would give to the students. To think that today is not going to be a school day made Matteo happy.

He got ready, excited to hang out with his best friends, plus Nino and Adrien, are also considered to be his now new best friends. Even if he looks like shit, his mind was full of joy that he was about to head out without even eating something.

Daniela and the twin brothers stopped him from the door, giving him a look before pushing him down his seat. She placed his breakfast infront of him as she did to the boys who did the same. "I know how careless you are when you're this excited, so I automatically locked the windows and the door after hearing the news."

She was the bestest sister he could ask for. "Thanks hermana." He smiled. "You're welcome. Now eat!"

A sigh escaped from Marinette's mouth, staring at her phone with her cheek on her palm—she was waiting impatiently for her best friends. The girl was on top of the stairs, leaning on the cemented wall.

Last night, the multimouse costume finally finished. The designer wasn't that tired, she's been crafting ever since she's just a child. "Ugh, where are those people?" If Tikki was here, she would be talking nonstop, heck even finish the Matteo's Secret List in just an hour—why does she need to be so far away from the school?

"Marinette! Goodmorning!" A familiar voice stopped her from sulking, finally having a friend to wait with. "Adrien! You're early today, why's that?" She teased as he walks closer, thinking how warm it is today because of his flushed face.

Or was it really from the sun in the first place.

He stood beside her, looking at the corner where he also expects Alya and Nino to walk out on. "I just happen to wake up before the sun rises, that's all." Chuckling in more airy tone than he thought, the blonde took a peek from underneath his bangs.

"Because of me? I've always wondered why she's so hesitant towards me.."

"She had a crush on you, that's why."

After dropping this information like a nuclear bomb, his staring starts to dissipate from hearts and sparkles to a normal light, it's more doable to keep his gaze on her without creaking around like a blushing mess.

What is happening to him this days? As if those words were from the reality that was different from his dream world. Her bluebell orbs turned to look him directly in the eyes, smiling to him without making his stomach go crazy. He returned her gesture—Did he just smiled at her without feeling anything?

Maybe it really wasn't meant to be after all.

Adrien had finally see what a normal friend zoned heartbreak is seeing. Coming into a conclusion that they're not compatible with each other, just friends. His shoulders felt lighter now, because he can keep a long conversation with her without stuttering and hearing his own heart beat drumming his ears loudly.

The bluenette questioned his sudden behavior, liking how relaxed he is today. Soon they will be having stupid moments together, laughing and having each other's back—she grinned unconsciously at the thought.
