Ella's POV
I was sitting in my bed waiting for Jema to wake up. I lied that Kyla will be with us today though I Know that kyla will be going home muna sa Laguna so its just the two of us. Hindi naman kami nagmamadali sa oras nag alis so hinayaan ko lang si Jema matulog muna and I saw her na nag-aral pa kagabi kasi and late na nakatulog.
I looked at her then tinatry ko syang gisingin pero tulog na tulog siya. I saw the space beside her then humiga ako sa tabi niya at humarap sa kanya.
Ganda mo tulog kapa niyan.. mas lalo na paggising... I took the time just to stare at her face and I slowly caress her face... and I was looking at her lips.. napapalunok ako.
She suddenly opened her eyes. Hindi ko inalis ang kamay ko sa pisnge nya then She was just looking at me and I was to her. I moved closer to her.... Baka hindi ako makapagpigil so instead I embraced her. Nakahiga padin kami and niyakap ko lang siya.. and I can feel how I miss her so much.
My heart beat.. so fast.. I can't breath at all..
"La.." I heard her called me while I am still embracing her.
"hmm." Sagot ko lang.
"Bakit?" she asked
"shhhh.. let me do this pls." at hinigpitan ko pa ang pagkakayakap sa kanya then I can feel she slowly slide her hands sa beywang ko and yumakap na din siya.
"Je.. I missed you.." I can't help it but said it. "She didn't reply and Lumayo ako unti.. and I was about to kiss her pero tinulak niya ako at nahulog na ako sa kama.
"aray..!! bakit moko tinulak???" tanong ko habang patayo ako
"Maliligo na ako.. aalis tayo diba" she replied and pumasok na sa CR.
I laughed while staring at the door ng CR. Inayos ko nalang ang mga gamit ko at yong dadalhin namin. After a few minutes, I saw her lumabas ng CR na nakatapis lang so lumabas muna ako ng room at nagpunta sa veranda kasi hindi ko kaya ang view.
After a few minutes, I heard her calling me siguro tapos na sya mag-ayos. Pagpasok ko. She's wearing her while polo na nakatuck in with her denim shorts at naka white shoes. I think I was drooling looking at her.
"Laway mo Ella" sabi niya at natauhan naman ako.
"Ganda mo kasi!" sabi ko nalang na narinig pala niya.
Lumabas na kami at bitbit ko na ang mga gamit naming.
"Ohh.. you have car??" tanong ni Jema saken kasi pinapasok ko mga gamit sa trunks ng kotse.
"I rent it lang.."I answered.
"Saan ba tayo? And wait where's Kyla. Akala ko kasama siya" taka niyang tanong ng marealize na wala si Kyla
"Ahh.. she went home sa Laguna.. I thought she texted you.. if ayaw mo naman ako kasama okay lang.. I can go alone naman" sabi ko nlng na medyo nasad pa ako sa thought.
"hindi okay lang.. wala naman akong gagawin." At sumakay na sya.
While nasa byahe tahimik lang kami then I suddenly asked.
"Kayo ba ni Dean??"
"huh??.. hindi.. but she's very patient and told her naman na hindi pa ako ready and need ko pa magtapos ng college bago ako pumasok sa ganyan" Jema replied
"So.. last year nalang tong year nato after that sasagutin mo na?"I asked her again pero hindi na siya sumagot.
"How about you? What happened to you?? Bigla kang Nawala" Jema asked
Huminga muna ako ng malalim then..
"It was a sudden change of plan. My family was struggling financially during that time kaya nga ako napalipat ng school. When an opportunity came, I grabbed it din agad because it will help my family financially. Ayaw ko na mastress si Mama coz she already had enough will all the burden" Hindi ko na maxado dinitalye sa kanya.
"I am sorry if wasn't able to say goodbye to you.. but you were the most precious memory I brought we me there" I continued while still focused on my driving.
"How about you?"I asked her
"After you left, everything was within my side.. maybe because you made it easy for me during that time. Wla na yong ka competensya ko" She laugh.
"But what you taught me sa Math and Physics really help a lot kaya mas tumaas pa ang grade ko. Thank God that I got the scholarship sa Ateneo so It help me a lot and kunting kembot nalang pwde na ako mag proceed sa medicine." Jema added.
"Good for you.. I am so proud and happy" maya maya ba dumating na kami sa kung saan kami pupunta.
"La.. ito ang.." nagulat siya sa nakita niya.
"Yess.. Welcome back to our memories" Nasa harap kami ng school namin nung senior high pa kami. Wala paxadong tao ngayon kasi weekend. Some mga athletes lang na nagppractice saground.
Pinasok ko ang kotse after buksan ng guard ang gate.
I breath in and reminiscing the past I had in this school.
