“Mom, Dad,” Rin placed her chopsticks down and looked at them, “I have a boyfriend,”
‘Gross,’ (F/n) had to hold herself back from rolling her eyes.
“That’s amazing sweetie!” Ivy clapped her hands, “Who’s the lucky guy?”
Rin smiled, “His name is Tsukishima Kei,”
(F/n) saw in her peripherals that Rin was glancing at her. She figured she wanted some type of negative reaction upon hearing the name of her boyfriend, but (F/n) couldn’t care less. Rin, disappointed by the lack of reaction, pressed on the issue further.
“I was thinking of bringing him over for dinner one of these days,” Rin saw (F/n) twitch, “Is that okay?”
“Of course,” Ivy was more than happy to hear that, “How about tomorrow?”
“That’s perfect!” Rin agreed before she looked at (F/n), “I don’t want her there,”
(F/n) was brought out of her thoughts as she placed her bowl down, along with her chopsticks, in confusion, “What?”
Rin persisted, “I don’t want you there when I bring him over,”
(F/n) was genuinely baffled at what her ears were hearing, “Why?”
“Because you might steal him away,” Rin explained.
(F/n) couldn’t help but laugh, “Excuse me?” she was amazed, “To believe you think so highly of me,”
Rin scoffed, “Shut up. Trust me, you’ll try to make the dinner all about yourself,”
“When,” (F/n) was getting upset, “Have I EVER made anything in YOUR life about me?”
“(F/n)!” Ivy stood up, “Don’t you dare raise your voice at your sister,”
“Seriously?” (F/n) knew her mom would take Rin’s side but her emotive brain was on autopilot, “Are you hearing her? Do you really think I’d steal her megane of a boyfriend?”
