The crisp winter air enveloped Wooyoung and San as they settled into the warm embrace of the hot tub, nestled amidst the quiet surroundings of Wooyoung's parents' Japanese ski house. This serene haven, far removed from the hustle and bustle of their busy lives, was a world unto itself. The snow-capped mountains stood majestically around them, their serene beauty only enhanced by the twinkling stars overhead.

"It's so peaceful here," Wooyoung murmured, his breath misting in the cold air as he leaned back, letting the warm water soothe his muscles. "I missed it here so much."

San nodded, a contented sigh escaping his lips. "It really is. It's hard to believe it's been a year since the auction."

Wooyoung smiled, the memory of that night bringing warmth to his heart. "It feels like a lifetime ago," he replied, his gaze drifting over the snow-covered landscape. "So much has changed since then."

Indeed, the auction had been a pivotal moment in their relationship—the catalyst that had transformed their patient-psychologist dynamic into something infinitely more profound and meaningful. From that moment on, their bond had only deepened, evolving into a love that neither of them could have anticipated. They became lovers, boyfriends. It all happened so fast, as if it was meant to be.

"I still can't believe you bid on that ski trip," Wooyoung teased, nudging San playfully with his elbow. "You must have been really desperate to spend time with me."

San chuckled, his eyes sparkling with affection as he leaned closer to Wooyoung. "Desperate doesn't even begin to cover it," he admitted, his tone laced with humor. "But in all seriousness, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to show your parents up. You just had the bathroom incident, and I wanted to impress you, I wanted to stand up for you."

Wooyoung felt a warm flutter in his chest at San's words, his heart swelling with love for the man beside him. "Well, I'm glad you did," he murmured, reaching out to intertwine their fingers. "This trip has been amazing." They have been skiing and snowboarding all day, having luxurious dinners at night and sleeping in each other's arms every night, so far.

Their journey together this year had been nothing short of extraordinary—a whirlwind of highs and lows, laughter and tears, triumphs and challenges. From Wooyoung's graduation from university to the grand opening of his restaurant coming up, they had weathered every storm together, emerging stronger and more resilient with each passing day.

"I still remember the look on your face when you realized I had won the auction," San said with a grin. "You were so shocked, and you finally laughed again after a long time."

Wooyoung laughed, the sound bright and full of life. "I thought I was seeing things. I mean, who would have thought my psychologist would show up and bid on a ski trip just to spend time with me?"

San shrugged, his expression turning serious. "I knew I had to do something. I couldn't let you slip away. Not after everything you'd been through."

Wooyoung's heart ached with affection as he looked at San. "You saved me, you know. In more ways than one."

San shook his head, his eyes soft with emotion. "We saved each other. I was an emotionless workaholic before you... you know."

The warmth of the water contrasting with the cold air around them, as they reflected on their journey together. Wooyoung had graduated from university with honors, a feat that had filled both of them with immense pride. The transition from student to entrepreneur had been a challenging one, but Wooyoung's determination and passion for his craft had driven him forward.
